Aka Dubs vs Celtics

Iggy just styled all over TD Garden tbh.

God damn it's hard to get excited about this season at all. The title has already been decided and the Spurs are boring as fuck to watch without Kiwi and the brand of offense they're playing with.

Might end up being the finals matchup, looks like Dubs are likely to ring again

TimDunkem
11-16-2017, 09:04 PM
Yeah. No one has a chance against the Dubs this season.

The only reason the Spurs could be competitive is due to the fact that they focus on defense first as well as the Kawhi factor, but it's a long shot. There's no way the antiquated offense Pop runs will be able to keep up with the barrage of threes and defense dismantling passing game the Dubs bring.

For as much shit as KD gets, I don't know if the Warriors would have won it all last season without him, and I don't know if they would be seen as such a juggernaut right now. Crazy to think this Warriors team could have been a one hit wonder.

I have said it for a while that Durant is their go to guy. When their offense gets bogged down he's the guy they turn to for easy buckets.

Horford is the guy holding this team together, imo. When he's the focal point the team plays team ball and gets good shots.

No surprise that when they go away from him the team starts chucking and choking the game.

Why not go for three then? Durant makes that there and Boston gets the last shot to either win it or go to OT.

Sorry but on that situation you either shoot the three or attack the basket hard.

That shot is generally a layup for Durbeta tbh, and they hadn't been shooting great from three all night; Boston is the best team at defending it iirc.

playoff time.

LeBron also dominated the fourth quarters of Games 6 and 7 and led both teams in every statistical category. Meanwhile, Kyrie never made the fucking playoffs without LeBron holding his hand. But sure, he "saved LeBron's legacy" by making one shot after LeBron did all the hard work. :lol

He goes with what works. He doesn't kill his team's chances by out-smarting himself micro-managing lineups, or not playing contributors because it "wouldn't be fair" to his older players.

4th quarter of Game 6:

Golden State cut the lead to nine at the end of the third quarter. James responded with 10 straight points for Cleveland. He either scored or assisted on the Cavs' first 19 points of the quarter. Only a technical free throw by Kyrie Irving broke that streak. He scored or assisted on 27 of 30 points in the fourth quarter before subbing out.

It was a dominant stretch in a pivotal time of the game. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and the Warriors were charging, and James simply charged back harder.

Did anyone really think the rule would apply to him? Even Durant still swings his arms under players hands and gets to the line, and it's been a few years now since the so-called "Durant rule" was implemented.
