The second unit will be helped the most by the returning players. Mills Manu Anderson Gay Lauvergne has playmakers, shooters and rebounding. Defense will have to see.
On the starting unit I feel Danny Green is really going to benefit from all the attention Kawhi is going to demand his newfound ability off the bounce will now be able to take advantage of those desperation closeouts and rotations.

There are no losers when you get a top 5 player back in your lineup, it could only help your team.. Only possible way it can hurt your team, would be I the player is a cancer which KL most certainly is not.

Which is a problem.

Trick question, tbh.. he's not coming back this season.
But in any case, LMA. He'll start stress eating again when he losses his touches and will blame everyone when he can't post up 6'4" people anymore.

The team wins the most, LMA loses the most IMO as it it yet to be seen if he is mentally strong enough to co-exist and play at this level
at this point, whatever problem results from his return is still better than his not returning at all.

Just throwing this out here, but what is the big difference between having TD instead of LMA, I mean KL & Spurs to me would operate just fine. So what is the big difference between having LMA in that spot..
Please don shoot me here, I know TD is HOF'mer, just asking why does touches affect LMA, so much more in comparison to if it was TD.
I guess we'll find out next season, when he comes back.

Kyle might see less minutes. LMA loses his touches. Everyone else wins. Offense won't be looking so awkward. Suprisingly our defense hasnt suffered too much. Thanks kyle

Murray... He gets to start and grow with kawhi and Aldridge requiring so much attention... Plus his ability to drive to the basket will be magnified since kawhi will open lanes... This is what made Parker the head of the snake... Defense collapses and all hell breaks loose...

Until he learns how to shoot this will not happen. Defenses will assuredly double off of him and pack the paint. Like it or not the most complete, versatile 5-man squad the Spurs can assemble on the floor is:
1) Kyle Anderson
2) Danny 2.0
3) Kawhi
4) Aldridge
5) Pau
with this as a close second:
1) Kyle Anderson
2) Danny 2.0
3) Kawhi
4) Gay
5) Aldridge
This year's version of Kyle is at least willing to shoot and can get to the basket at an underratedly good clip.
Murray will get his chance. He has to continue his work with Chip though.

At this point Kyle is a better decision maker with the ball than Murray.
YES, Kyle is still tentative - but demonstrably LESS than seasons prior.
Like Murray, Kyle has good rebounding instincts and has enough length to bother the opposing player on the defensive end. And while he can't stay in front of most guards, he has shown to be capable of guarding positions 3-5. He also has a bit more mass than Murray and doesn't get pushed around as much.
Murray frequently forces up wild shots - which Kyle rarely does.
So while Murray has quicker handles, plays with more tenacity, and is miles ahead over Kyle in the athleticism department - Kyle is still crafty enough to get to the rim. He can post smaller players and has shown a consistent ability this season to make the right pass.
FWIW you are reading me wrong. I LOVE Murray. I just think that throwing him out there just for the sake of "getting minutes" won't fix his greatest problem - namely that he still hasn't developed a consistent jumper. Chip worked with Parker over several off-seasons to rebuild his jumpshot - Murray will have to go through a similar process. And unlike Parker's case, where he was getting PG duties really early in his career out of necessity - the Spurs have many capable floor leaders where being forced to play Murray is not required.

Anyone who enjoys free-flowing, beautiful offensive basketball will be losers. The Beautiful Game is dead when Kawhiso returns to the court.

Stupid question OP, per par.
Here's an idea: Put some scrabble pieces in a bowl, toss them into the air. Start a thread on whatever patterns land. Keep doing that. We won't know the difference other than maybe once in a while something coherent will arise.

kyle anderson is the loser and aldridge loses a lot, but overall we all improve. I think Gay will have the same role and Kyle could be switching positions all around. We'll see. I still want to see the superwingspan lineup sometimes

of course he can.. just need to avoid him going 1 on 1 in the open space against a fast pg, but that's quite easy to do if you're the spurs.
