Mills doesn't suck. He is just overpaid and, right now, on a bigger role than he should have.

No, Mills fucking sucks. I was one of the people that stated before free agency that I didn't want him back at all. AT ANY PRICE.

Fucking idiot Spurs FO.

Mills is suited to be backup. Once Tony comes back he will be a lot better in his role off the bench.

Still way overpaid. I mean, I would have even balked at bringing him back at even 6M per year. I just did not want him back at all. He's been pathetic in the playoffs in the biggest series where we needed him to just play up to par, he couldn't even do that.

What a delusional statement by him saying that he believes he's being paid for what he did before. What he did before is NOT worth anywhere near 50M, it's not even worth 6M per year IMO.

FO fucked up big time.

if it weren't for that salary, would he be getting any minutes right now? even with Parker out

I say no to that one. It fucking sucks that he's so bad as I doubt any team in the entire NBA would take on that hideous contract of his.

I agree he is overpaid but I don't hold the Warriors series against him. The whole entire team was garbage in that series without Kawhi except for Simmons,Manu,Kyle.

His contract and 12:01 suggests he's overhyped by the PATFO big time.

Guys keep underrating the fact that he doesn't show up against elite talent. He didn't show up the season b4 against OKC either.

He's was good against the Grizzlies and Rox last year. He was also pretty good against the Clippers 2 years ago. He was also was huge in '14 against Miami. He's been proven in more than one playoff series.

He spent all summer at the beach taking pics for his Instagram. Now doesn’t need a beach bod anymore given the Riverwalk ain’t the French Riviera.

some of those games were 2 seasons ago or more.
I have huge problems for the amount he was paid compared to what he can do. He's a good spot up shooter, who can't defend and needs shots created by others. You ask him for more than that and it's trouble. He's not worth 12 millions a season for 4 years.

Sadly, no. That contract alone will keep him in the rotation. Anything to convince the public Drunkford didn't sink this franchise for 4 years

Yup. Pop doesn't run the team playing guys who are the best options anymore. He's too old and lazy to put in that kinda effort and energy.

Murray is more suited to start but you can’t start him and Kyle. Kyle’s much more fitted to have an off ball guard like Patty who can shoot starting.

He just does not seem to have it anymore. Green also is just too inconsistent. Trying to rely on them to carry the team makes the Spurs mediocre at best.

I agree with you on that he's grossly overpaid but he did show up last year in the playoffs for the first two rounds. Like I said before everybody on the Spurs was garbage against the Warriors outside of Manu,Simmons,Kyle. I can't hold that series against him. Kawhi not playing in that series had a huge effect on a lot of guys production. Now if he was terrible for the whole entire playoffs you would have a point about him not being productive.

Completely agree... Which is why I've been saying Murray should start when kawhi comes back... Murray's drives will open up shots for kawhi, and kawhi's shooting will open up Murray's drives
