Talked to Verizon over phone on Friday, they said half off pixel 2 deal was good all weekend. Fast forward to Saturday at store they said no, it was a Friday only deal. Called Verizon again pissed, they said good all weekend. Then when I went to order they said they made a mistake again. Really expected them to honor it since they told me twice it was still active. Supervisor told me deals on cyber Monday would be worth it, looks like there is no deal on pixel 2 but pixel 1 would be like $125.

Don't need a new phone but mine is a really cheap older one. Doesn't look like much difference, would it be a mistake getting the old pixel? I'm stuck on the pixel because of the integrated Google assistant.

So call them while you're on the store then and settle it there.

I did. Twice they thought it was a validdeal but apparently they are all in agreement now that it was a one day deal that I missed.

Google Assistant is on any current Android phone

Or is it more integrated in the Pixel?

Its pretty wow on the pixel. Very integrated. My sister has had one about a year and loves it. I just bought a google home mini so i'm looking to get more entrenched into that. $29 with a $25 wal mart coupon. Kinda a no brainer on that.

Wait till December. Usually mobility services have funds for deals so the deals after Black friday are usually awful.

Im sure you can get it for free in December.

You can always switch providers, but shop around before switching. I worked at a mobility company 6 years ago for two years and you're basically an 80$ dollar target for salesmen...

Cause these salemen generally only make 13-14 dollars per hour and they rely on the commission to triple or multiple that to 5...
