I will also give Tony props as he said that he was willing to come off the bench. he said that at the very start of the season before Murray and Mills failed.

minutes were 14, 28, 5 for Parker, mills, Murray. Forbes played a bunch too.

Seems like Parker started missing easy shots in the 3rd, which could mean he got winded. Murray goty 4rth q minutes, and looked no worse than mills. Mills did hit some shots, but his turnovers mostly negated that benefit. Kyle and gasol played well.

Brazil used to be a big time hater... but has come around to recognize he turned himself into a basketball player, and Brazil gave him props since last season's playoffs. One of the few that recognized he played well...

I have a lot of respect for Brazil now.

LA, Pau, Kyle, and Danny closed the game last night. Fatty was in there to get torched by Dennis Smith in the 4th, again.

He's in his final laps, for sure, but you could instantly see the difference in how team played when he was on the court.
It was nice.

I'm amazed at how good he looked, in his first game back from that injury.
Especially after so many here were calling it a career for him.

The longevity of the Big 3 is exceptional. People gave up on Duncan after 2011, Manu after 2013, and Parker after 2015. All 3 came back to give multiple encores...in the playoffs no less.

I have to admit, I was more emotional than I thought I would be, seeing him back. And then to play like nothing happened? It pissed me off to see him sit and watch Patty and company rupture the game in each half.
I'm glad Patty closed the game well because it shouldn't have been as close as it was.

No turn around. It was en vogue for the player fans. With Kawhi being established, hating on Parker is no longer expedient.

Also, "turned him himself into a basketball player" :lmao He was like 33 years old with 4 rings already.

Well, its disappointing that Murray didn’t take hold of the starting job but it’s not totally surprising. Im really hoping TP starting will get Patty on track and back in his natural bench rhythm. Spurs need him playing much, much better than he has.

Here’s hoping TP shocks us all and plays at a true starting caliber

Say what you want but the dude is Wolverine when it comes to major injuries. I actually think this was a wake up call for hi to realize how much he needs to work out to still be a very good player.

As far as Murray we all New it was going to take time he is so young and raw. I still think they should move him to SG position where he can help us by creating own shot and taking it to the rim

In this case he totally deserves to be. The other options are a 2nd-year who can't shoot and a shooting specialist who sometimes can't shoot.

Don't let this one game fool u... Tony is done... You could see it as time went on... His first half isn't sustainable... Second half he reverted to not being able to penetrate past anyone, and getting trapped in the paint, thus forcing up wild shots over a taller defender... Tony isn't the answer... We need to accelerate Murray's growth... Patty is done, Tony is done... Both will be a liability against the good playoff teams

I just hope he can keep it up. He should look freshest after not playing for so long. When he gets to late January we will see how he holds up.
