I didn't see that call at all. It would have been different if Olynyk had had possession of the ball and been going up for a shot...
He swatted to the front court, they´ve made a call.

Only LMA is losing his shit cuz his touches are gone with Kawhi coming back.

Underrated move of the game: Manu faking an injury so that Forbes could get in and keep us on the game when Miami couldn't miss a three.

Manu would do anything for a W :tu

LMA still has another four games to get his touches tbh. Kawhi won't come back til Dallas on the 16th.

If I'm Pop I consider punting the Celtics game tbh. Rest guys and make sure you win the Phoenix game and Dallas game, punt on the Rockets game as well, then go all in against Dallas again on the 16th hopefully with Kawhi. After that the schedule gets easier outside that B2B against Portland/Utah.

They just won in Charlotte in a blowout without Raymond or Curry. On top of that they only play three more times over the next 11 days. Spurs won't be catching any ground on them.

So why lose more ground? They already punted the OKC game.

where did you get this from? he might be back next game..Having said that, I didn't like Aldridge effort the past two games and let's just hope he didn't blow his load in the first two months Paul George style..

Since chances are they don't win either of those games without Kawhi or Fathead. Might as well ensure they win the other three instead of risking losing four of them.

No chance they bring him back for a physical game against Boston, and they won't bring him back on the road imo.

nah, he looks about ready though I agree not against the Celtics..Suns/Mavericks is good combo of games to ease him back in and who cares if it is on the road..He can also rest vs the Rockets but play the SEGABABA against Dallas at home..

Guys won’t admit it bc many don’t care for Anderson but him and Lamarcus has chemistry and Kyle made his life easier sometimes. It doesn’t matter bc Kyle was a stopgap until Kawhi came back so Aldridge needs to adapt to different looks.

That’s a good point but I’ll be honest I think it taxes the few that play in the undermanned games risking further injuries. Spurs are small and are missing 2 forwards. They’ll get clobbered physically. I suppose call Costello and Hilliard...

but I admit your reasoning makes sense

I'd of rested everyone he did in that OKC game too tbh. Spurs are in the middle of a 5 game in 7 days stretch and a month where they play 18 games. Need to rest where you can while giving some guys burn and winning the games you should. Really sucks Fathead got hurt in that game but it could've happened anywhere.

I suppose you do have a good point but Pop needed to call up Hilliard and Costello. I would have rested Kyle too the second half of that game but I think coach wanted to give him as much experience as he could and he’s young. Coulda played B2B. I do think he should’ve called up the 2way contracts but that’s passed. Hopefully he does this time. You have a good plan.

They should be calling up those two, that's what they have them for.

Had to quote you again to tell you Jabari Young said on his postgame video that Kawhi is unlikely for Friday. We shall see what Pop does about the resting. I am concerned that the team has a lot of chemistry right now, their shooters are playing well and sometimes rest does throw players rhythm off. Also as I said Spurs are small and they already rested their guys against OKC a few days ago. Maybe Pop plays everyone that’s healthy. I think the young guys especially need to compete against good competition and get tested. But we shall see what happens. If Pop rests ppl so be it. :tu.

Kyle and Kawhi might come back around the same time or within a week of each other it’s looking like, which is crazy.

Good game ... Miami was hot from three and it still was not enough. Scary moment with Manu, but thankfully he is alright!

Well Dion and Tyler scored almost 50 points, but Spurs won. So there.
