This is fucking nuts. :lol I don't even know what to say. I took a lot of pictures even though it's not my first time seeing snow. Just my first time seeing snow here. Still cool.

Pretty cool. Built a snowman in the backyard with the kids. Haven't seen this much snow on the ground in SA since the 1984/85 snowstorm.

It was pretty great. Enjoyed every minute of it that I could with the family since this is a 1 in 30 year event. :lol
I'm at Jax Beach in Florida, it's damp and cool but no snow. My wife sent pics of my truck covered in snow however.

3-4 inches hit my hometown in Mississippi. Pretty much everywhere but North Mississippi is covered in snow.
Every thing is cancelled. Great times....

Was that possibly 1990? I remember actually being able to break out an old sled that we had in storage.

Damn you...
However, if you stay too long, you will miss the flounder run here.

3-4 inches of snow in the Corpus Christi area as well... with 1-2 inches down in the valley.

Most snow since the big one in 85'..
The climate is all fucked up tbh.. for the past 5 years it has been warmer, shorter winters, with record temp summers. Barely started to get cold in the new year, and leaves are barely starting to fall into my pool mid January.. Now it's the first week of December, it's cold as shit, it's already snowed a few inches, and the majority of the trees around here are yellowed out with a ton of leaves fallen.

It's actually snowed here a couple times more than that.. I believe around 11' or 12' it gathered on the ground here in the city and turned everything white like last night, but wasn't as much.. The highways across the city were closed til about noon. Another time five or so years before that one, but it was melted a few hours later overnight.

It was February 3, 2011. It's easy to find the exact date because it was the night Antonio McDyess got a tip in to beat the Lakers at the buzzer at Staples back when the Lakers were somebody.

It was only about 1/10th of an inch though. Last night's snow was around 2.5 inches on my side of town.

What a crock of shit. I lived in San Antonio for 25 years. It snowed twice. Once when I was 9 months and quite literally the day I left for California. Snowed like 3x in the 9 years I've been gone and not once in the shitty Central Valley of CA.

It'll suck if the Getty gets taken out though. That's an amazing museum and it's free.

Quit your bitching man, you can just drive out to Yosemite or Sequoia any time in the winter and have feet of snow. :lol

Yeah, but than you run the risk of the fools with bald tires or no snow chains skidding all over the place, causing accidents or long traffic. Nothing worse than waiting in traffic on those narrow, winding roads for hours and hours.

Welcome to South Texas. Winter in the morning, summer in the afternoon.
The two winters I was in the Army at Ft. Huachuca, there were many winter days we had a couple inches of snow on the morning ground. Then late afternoon it was 70+ degrees with sunshine.
