Buddy of mine bought a 50 inch 4k LG TV. it was an open box and it had scratches in the back of tv. it wasnt even that noticeble.

From 1200 CAD to 500CAD too.

I saw one in best buy website for a 50in 4k tv from 1000CAD to 799CAD...

There was some top 10 list of "unethical life hacks".

One of the items was purchasing something at an electronics store and then opening the box and taking it back.
And then purchasing it back when it goes on sale as an "open box" item.

you cant return an open box though unless it is defective.

I'm not sure that's true.

I think Best Buy has a 10 day return policy for whatever reason.

Correct.

Back when I used to buy my tech there, I used to return shit all the time.

One time, I bought a TV and returned it 3 times before I settled for the one I wanted. :lol

The counter girl was pissed. :lmao
