Clippers rookie guard Daniel Ewing has made the most of extra playing that has resulted from Shaun Livingston's strained back. Head coach Mike Dunleavy turned to Ewing to start against Steve Nash and the Suns last weekend, and after seeing how well he played, he told the Los Angeles Times, "He does a good job defensively on the ball, and he's made some big shots, some important shots, for us coming down the stretch of the game. That's been a positive for him."

Ewing not only has the confidence of his coach, but also has star forward Elton Brand's as well. While he isn't draftable in fantasy leagues just yet, he should be on your radar considering it's just a matter of time before both Livingston and Cassell are sidelined.
