Timberwolves rookie guard Rashad McCants aggravated a sprained right ankle and was unable to play in the second half of Sunday's game against the Pistons. McCants played on Monday against the Bulls, but claimed he was fighting through pain, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

McCants has all the potential to become a solid offensive player in the NBA, but it remains to be seen how prone he is to injury and whether or not he develops enough defensively to stay out of coach Dwane Casey's doghouse. At this point he's a late round flier pick in fantasy leagues.
