It's ironic how Pop has tried to rest guys this year and they still end up getting injured.

Only made it to 61-63 before skipping to the last 15.7 to get current. Good win. Will have to watch the rest before saying much more. I did see the graphic before the game about LMA being ~85.8 from FT and being second best for a front court player. My thought was yea, but what in a close game under two minutes? In the clutch his ass is tighter than dabom (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=47543) 's sphincter in a parallel universe in which he isn't gay as fuck. :lol
Sure enough, LMA went 1-2 from the FT to allow Portland a chance for the win.

Another close one the Spurs won ... they are clutch ... but you wonder how they pulled it off with all these turnovers and the numer of second chance points they gave Portland
I feel better with Murray defending all these PGs out there, but he is losing the ball way too much ...

Spurs have been pretty good at getting buckets at the end of quarters/halves in close games this season that have made the difference. Dangerous way to live but any win the team can get until everyone is healthy is a good win.

The defense was much better than the stats would indicate. Giving up that many points off turnovers is usually more about bad offense than bad defense.

When the shot clock goes from 7 to 6 it's going from 7.0 to 6.9. Aldridge puts his foot in the paint just after that, so let's call it 6.8. The whistle blows at 4.4. It is a pretty bad call, especially if you take human reaction time into account: once a ref notices a player has been in for 3 seconds it still takes a couple of tenths to actually blow the whistle.

Yeah typically a 3-second call is more of a 5-second call, because the ref has to actually notice someone camping out before they'll start their three count.
Even if this ref started counting the moment LMA's toe touches the paint, I still don't think it's a full three seconds. If they called it like that all the time, there would be technical on every possession.
