Back in the 80's, it seemed like being named Dick was a requirement; I believe Naked Gun even did a joke on that. But the best Dick of them all was Dick Enberg. He passed, this morning.

Great at every sport he broadcasted, but his voice was made for baseball radio. So easy to listen to, and very smooth, story-telling type style. By all accounts, also a really good man.

Forget the full story now, but some time back, Dick E. wanted to come back as the Angels announcer, and the Angels somehow f'd it up. SMH
