Man a regular Spurs/Kings post-game love-in. Pop may have lingered a little long hugging Georgie.

one of his better games.
he's had other good ones too, but this one he has put it together with playmaking and better ball control.
His game against the Cavs last season is his best career game...and Pop didn't even let him finish that game either after he was talking trash with Kyrie.

Pop showing a lot of trust in Dijon. Glad to see.
:toast
Murray has played well, but last couple possessions have been rushed when we should be killing time...
Dijon is gradually earning some trust and a longer leash. Not there yet, but if he can start stringing a few of these performances together his church would go dervish.

Still far from an A game but good to get a dub after a poor game on national tv.

He should continue to get minutes. It's good to see him in the bench with Patty and Manu. I much prefer those 3 guards if Pop wants to play 3 guards, then the Tony, Patty, Forbes combo he was putting for the last game. In fact, although +/- in a single game means squat, bryn was the only one with a negative +/- in this game and it wasn't his effort. He competed.. It wasn't like he was slacking or TO the ball, or making mistakes. It's just simply, Pop plays him as a SG and he's outmatched most of the time. He can't stop those guys, they draw fouls on him, shoot over him easily, etc. Anyways, depending on situation Dijon is a better option, specially when he's having a heady and focused game.

Anderson needs to see less minutes.. getting tired of seeing 20 plus minutes wasted on a 6pt 3rb player...

Once we're at full strength, he'll get less burn but it's needed at this point.

I feel ya, but the spurs deserve more from a player 4 years into the system.

Why were Gasol, Ginobili, and Aldridge playing at the end when the game was already in hand?

Why does Parker insist on shooting the semi-contested shots on the move from a foot or so inside the three point line? I bet his percentage on those shots is seriously like thirteen fucking percent.
It's so nice to see Patty return to his proper role in the offense. After his terrible start his shooting has really improved a lot this month:

Yep. I was one of the people critical of him, so I'm very glad to see him turn it around and shut people like me up. Hope he keeps it up.

Why were Gasol, Ginobili, and Aldridge playing at the end when the game was already in hand?
Other than trying to build cohesion it was not necessary...

Easy stats, tbh. Spurs can pretend they don't matter; but they still have some egos to appease at the end of the day.

Couldn't find a video of it on YT; but anyone else catch the Kings playing this music video while introducing the Spurs?
