out-of-control, sicko Clarke just adds to slime and corruption sticking to county sheriffs, where the many deputies are scumbags kicked off police forces.

And of course, sheriffs are huge supporters, members of nutcase crazies of Oath Keepers.

Dreamers are ‘straight up thugs’, says Trash's sheriff

https://www.rawstory.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Sheriff-David-Clarke-092116.jpg

called “many” of the young immigrants who were brought to the United States as children “straight up thugs,” in a tweet on Friday. David Clarke,

who still goes by the Twitter handle @SheriffClarke, though he’s no longer a lawman in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin,

tweeted that several news outlets are spreading falsehoods about recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program.

“Democrats and their PROPAGANDA machine at the NY Times, Washington Post, Huffington Puffington Post, CNN, MSNBC have done a good job of LYING and DEMAGOGUERY when it comes to DACA,” Clarke wrote.

“These illegal aliens are not all 'Dreamers' many are straight up thugs.”

NBC tweeted it out like it just happened. In fact, another "news source" that grabbed it stated that the search warrant was filed Thursday!

"On Friday, former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke Jr. was the latest Trump surrogate to get dinged by the FBI when an agent obtained a search warrant for his email address — we should note that the warrant against Clarke does not seem to be at all relate to Mueller’s investigation. Detroit-based reporter Robert Snell was the first to grab the news and uploaded the full search warrant, which rings in at only 18 pages. Snell is a federal court reporter and wrote that he “stumbled across” the warrant, which was issued on March 7." http://rare.us/rare-politics/fbi-search-warrant-discovered-for-sheriff-david-clarke/

Didn't know "Has issued" could be misinterpreted as something different than past tense.

it's called "present perfect" and it's being used with a past participle "issued". It indicates that an event occurred that is still in play, and the timing is unspecified (though it's right there in the document).

The present perfect tense refers to an action or state that either occurred at an indefinite time in the past (e.g., we have talked before) or began in the past and continued to the present time

I showed you twice already. Do you need sources? It's present perfect used with a past participle, which indicates either:

A. Unknown time of occurrence
B. Still in play

Since neither is true, the correct usage would be "issued". Using "has issued" is common when something recently happened and the story is developing. "Has unsealed" would be more accurate, if it was true.

The present perfect tense refers to an action or state that either occurred at an indefinite time in the past (e.g., we have talked before) or began in the past and continued to the present time (e.g., he has grown impatient over the last hour). This tense is formed by have/has + the past participle.

Everything that happened, anywhere and always, is in the past.

The "indefinite time" is the key. The time is known. "Continued to the present time" is the key in the 2nd option, only it didn't.

So there you are. Keep being intentionally naive though.

A continuation isn't "more than one time"

The case was closed 2 months after it was opened.

NBC is a sitcom producer, quite appropriately so.

Has issued indicates what I said. Argument by repetition doesn't change that.

It's also not singular by nature. Something could have been issued many many times.
