Had the pleasure of meeting and shooting hoops with him for a few hours at an event here in Los Angeles a few months ago. The coolest dude I've ever met tbh. And he told me he's a Spurs fan these days. Hope he's alright.

Fucking freethrow shooting is still this team's elephant in the room.

He can score in a variety of ways. He used to be just a 3 pt shooter. Nowadays I trust him with that runner much more than I do Patty. has to be tested in the playoffs though and likely will.

True, that's nice to see. However, if he can't at least be a 38% 3-point shooter while hitting his freebies he won't be helping the team come postseason time.

bklynspursfan

He's been shooting below 30% the last month.

He's at 38% since December 1st (?)

Welp, I stand corrected.

I mean he's got that icy hot thing going at times, it probly seems worse than it is, but overall he's been solid. Those FTs tho...

Manu broke their back at the end of the 3rd.

How do you win a game by 14 points and your leading scorer is the only net-negative player on the team?

Manu broke their back at the end of the 3rd.

He's been breaking the Suns' back for 15 years already.

Booker scored nine points on 27-percent shooting last time. Dunno what would feel good about 21 points on 47.

If only he wouldn't have broken Dirk's wrist in '06 or 8 Heat fans noses in '13, Timmy would have 7 chips

I was just thinking this has to be signaling the demise of Joff... kinda feel sorry for him at this point but he doesn't belong in an NBA team the way he's looked.

All the more reason for us ti draft a big in June.

Can somebody please scour this article for me..this writer has lost his dang mind.
how can somebody write about the spurs with no mention of the spurs mvp/allstar Kyle Anderson.
Does he not see all those stats Kyle puts up in his 30 minutes?
No mention of his block? rebounds? assists? Nada??
What am I missing here..
aside from MvpKyle.

Joff 16 min 3pts 6reb 1ast
Kyle 27 min 4pts 5reb 2ast

99% of us see the real signaling of the demise...

Bertans can't box out or rebound that well, but his length really helps on D.

What length? He's a 6'10'' guy, with a 6'10.25'' wingspan. To his credit, he's improved his defensive rebound percentage from a pathetic 10.4% to a more manageable 16.2%.

I noticed in this game he's not deferring rebounds to Murray. At least a couple of rebounds he grabbed were over Spurs guards heads and hands. Contested rebounds with him still don't pass the eye test, but as you said, he brings in a lot offensively.
