If my quick research is correct, this is the last time it happened:

Didn't he have 30 against Portland a few years ago in the game Pop got ejected in? IIRC, he scored 18 alone in the third after it happened.

He score 29 in 25 minutes. No surprise he spread his wings once the poop was gone though.

no. he wouldn't see enough minutes or take enough shots for that.

He put up 15 in the 3rd alone tonight. I think it's possible if the circumstances are very right

Manu can score 30 points but he shares the ball, and wants others around him to be successful.

Would have done it tonight but Poop happened..

Probaly would take a high stake playoff game going to multiple OTs with Manu playing well for him to get into 30-35 minute range necessary to reach the 30 point-mark. Otherwise, it would have to be an ungodly efficient game to get there..

I tend to agree with the outlooks of the posters in this thread. My only counter is that it seems like Manu hits 20 in the third quarter in a good amount of games to at least be eligible to have a 10 pt 4th and get it done.

Highly unlikely. He probably could, but he won't shoot enough shots to get there.

That is why I am fairly certain it won't happen. TBH, I can't remember the last time Manu played 30 minutes... the most he's played in recent memory is about 26 and Pop was pushing him. No... it won't happen, not enough minutes and not enough shots. He's a playmaker these days too... it's not all about him... yada yada.

Maybe he should take fifty shots, including twenty-one three shots in his final game and see what might come of it? Assuming he also got to the line at least a dozen times, I should think he'd score a minimum of sixty.

He scored 21 in 19 minutes last night...so why not?

You didn't specify an "NBA" game so I'd say yes for sure.

It's remarkably unbelievable that he played that series with a broken arm. Warrior.

Meanwhile, Tiny Porker misses playoff games because of bruised pinkies. Disgusting!

I (obviously) love Manu...but he doesn't get the minutes nor the shots to put up 30, unless he goes napalm and shoots like 12/12 with some help from the line.

Seems unlikely...but would love to see it.

Only 4 points away tonight. Problem is, how many games is he going to get 16 shot attempt off?

Almost there

Spurtacular

Almost there

He was at 26 when he felt the contact in his back and went for the four point play. The thought was good, the execution wasn't. He needed to withold his momentum just a bit and dig down to get that ball over the front lip of the rim to get the call and the three.

On the next possession, he maybe rushed that corner three just a bit. If he makes that and Spurs get control of the game and he's shooting FT's, he would've got the 30 too.

Manu definitely showing that when rested he can take a bigger offensive share of the load when rested. With all these players out, he still might do it within the next few games.
