Yes SpursTalkers, coaches can be "traded". At least the team letting the coach go compensated for.
2nd one down: https://www.foxsports.com/nba/gallery/famous-trades-coaches-managers-doc-rivers-jon-gruden-al-davis-ozzie-guillen-stan-van-gundy-gil-hodges-chuck-tanner-062313
Doc Rivers from Boston to Clippers, others.
Or, go back to Chucky Grudens being traded from the Raiders to Tampa Bay (granted NFL but same idea as NBA).

Once thought of by many on this board as the NBAs best coach, well surely some other teams would compensate dearly to have Coach Pop.
2018, it seems even a good number of Pop Lovers are now seeing how much Timmy Duncan and the NBAs best roster played into the 5.

Summer of 2014 we could have absolutely fleeced some other teams.
Going back further I also think summer 2008, 9, even 10 we could have mega fleeced.

But, dealing with the here and now, what could the Spurs get for Pop now?
I fear many, if not most, if not nearly 100% of the rest of the NBA has caught on and wouldn't give much.
Or would they?
Is there some owner/GM that still thinks Pop is the cats meow and would give ___ ____ ____?

"Spurs ownership would never trade Popped."

So true.
But lets speculate on what other teams would give up in 2018.

17th Round pick in the 2027 draft?
Bag of Doritos?
Small bag of Doritos?

Sheesh looks like the Pop Wagon has near completely shrank.
