"Deyshia Hargrave, who teaches English language arts at Rene A. Rost Middle School, stood up during a meeting to express her displeasure about a raise the superintendent would be receiving. She said it was unfair. The school board president*ruled that it was inappropriate*for her to raise such an issue during the public comment section.

Nonetheless, she was called upon for a second time and again raised objections before a police officer -- for a still-inexplicable reason -- tried to remove her from the meeting and aggressively handcuffed her in the hallway.

I'm gonna guess she'll get a nice settlement where she won't have to teach again if she doesn't want to

"The video shows middle school teacher Deyshia Hargrave being handcuffed and led out of the building Monday night. Critics have called out the teacher's removal, saying it was unnecessary.

“Everybody wants to side on the poor little woman who got thrown out,” Anthony Fontana, the Vermilion Parish School Board president,*told WAFB in a phone interview. “Well, she made a choice. She could have walked out and nothing would have happened.”

Fontana said the public’s reaction to the video has been swift. But he drew criticism himself for his reaction to the video.

More evidence that America is fucked and unfuckable.

Capital/managerial class will call down the untouchable, militarized police state goons on dissenters.

How to stop such brutal goonishness? we can't, it's unstoppable.
