Force James to say he will commit to them long term if he does not
Trade him for picks and players. Something is better then nothing.
They have the nets first round pick could use it if they do not trade it now for a shot blocker!

Spurs blew a 22pt lead after one against the Celtics in 2008. They didn't trade Tim Duncan.

They're not going to trade Lebron. But there is a good chance he leaves them this summer for Houston after they lose to the Warriors in the Finals yet again.

Edit*: Only way he stays in CLE is if they somehow trade for Boogie or another big time player like that. Only way imo.

First of all, LeGOAT has a no-trade clause, so OP's scenario wouldn't work.

Second of all, how many years in a row have the Cavs coasted in the regular season, causing casual fans to overreact, only for LeGOAT to carry them to the Finals again?

Cavs have a high chance of going back to the Finals and getting swept. I don't think Lebron stays with the Cavs after this season unless they make a big trade to give them a chance against the Warriors.

Yeah after the Irving thing James was like I will not waive it no matter what
He does not care for Cleveland at all

There’s plenty of signs he’s LA bound IMO.

So, you want them to trade away a legit chance at ring(s) for likely mediocrity? Lebron has the Cavs by the balls. That's always been the case.

:lmao thinking Toronto or any other scrub east team would beat them in the playoffs

They still guaranted to reach East finals

And thy are on same levl as boston in the playoffs imo. Boston might have slight advantage right now

So basically they have a 55% to reach the finals.

No one is gonna beat the Warriors this season, doesn't matter what they do. Only thing that will beat the Warriors now is tired legs, fatigue and injurys.
