14 and 16 didn't start off amazing either, but they got good by springtime.

12 was just mediocre all year really

10 was the last truly shitty even year. Grandma almost died of lung failure, AC was out half that summer, school was bullshitting me that fall, etc. Yech. But not as bad as 2017.

As far as odd years... 15 was pretty lame, 13 was ...bizarre... some fun, lots of bad, a little good..... 11 was mostly boring.... 09 was another fun...somewhat bizarre...good and bad transition year. 07, 05 and 03 were awesome.

Nothing changes between 2017 and 2018 besides getting a new calendar, Andrew. You gotta stop writing in your diary about whether or not a year was good, tbh
