View Full Version : Seattle should trade for Foles

Clipper Nation

He's better than Struggle, and it turns out that he's pretty clutch. And he did it without a defense (unlike Struggle, who can't win anything without one of the most stacked defenses ever assembled 100% healthy). Imagine what he'd do with the Legion of Boom :wow

Comparing what Wilson has done in his 6 season career vs what Foles has done, would be cartoonish. Think....Alabama vs Furman.

Dude, when do you ever learn the game, well? Will you ever figure out....BODY OF WORK? Look at yourself son, STILL freaking out over....A....game or two, yep......EL ROOKIE.

Why do you think Foles has been bounched around for six seasons while Russell Wilson is playing in SB's and pro bowls, well? Why does Wilson own numerous NFL records, while Foles is thinking retirement.....well?

Dude, according to you Derek Anderson is better than Cam Newton, guess what little guy.....he's not. According to you Tom Savage is better than DeShaun Watson and Dax Prescott, guess what shorty......he's not.

Dude, learn the damn game, ok?

I will use just one stat, QB rating.

Wilson 98.4
Foles 87.4

In the history of the NFL, when talking that important number.

I get you won't get this.

Later this year the NFL players will once again vote for the top 100 players in the NFL. last season Wilson was ranked....17. I do expect to see more 15ish for 2017.

Five pro bowls in his six season career, he owns at least four NFL records and no QB has ever won more games in their first six seasons.

Rookie....forget all that Avante, Nick Foles played a hell of a game.

In all fairness, the running game was great but the defense was atrocious tonight. Foles didn't bus drive or game manage the Eagles to victory, ala Peyton Manning two years ago... nope... Foles legitimately went out and won it without any significant help on the other side of the ball. yes the o-line and backs were great, but Jeffery really put them in jeopardy with the dumb pop up where the NE defender picked it off... if the Eagles go up 22-6 there I don't know if NE recovers in time.

Mark Rypien played 12 NFL seasons, he was a SB MVP.

He was also a 56.5 comp % passer and had a QB rating of 79.5 which is terrible, and his TD/INT ratio...115/88.

Only a rookie would make a dumbass statement like this....but he's undefeated in a SB and a SB MVP. Fuck...Larry Brown was a SB MVP, I know....who?

We know if ya put a good team around Russell Wilson he's taking them to a SB, we also know if ya put a shit team around him....another Pro Bowl and MVP talk. When has Foles ever did anything, other than take over a winning team and play a couple good games? He could totally suck next season, as we know CN's QB's all end up sucking.

Actually take a few mintues and Google Nick Foles stats, it's all right there staring at ya, this is nothing special at all. Now look at Wilsons numbers, a whole totally different deal, totally.

problem is... Seahawks don't have any $$$$. They're already going to lose Jimmy Graham and others. They'll be lucky to keep Paul Richardson. Their ILBs are expensive and worth it. Sherman and Thomas are expensive and worth it, when they're healthy. Who knows on Chancellor? You never seem to really get the point.

This was a shit Seahwak team in 2017, ONLY Russell Wilson had them one game away from the playoffs, and he led the NFL anyway with 34 TD passes, made ANOTHER pro bowl and was in the MVP talk and set yet ANOTHER NFL record. best comp %....68.1 (64.7, 64.1 all better than Brady's best)
TD/INT...161/56 (brady threw 66 INTs in five seasons)

How about rushing yards, hahaha~~~~

Rookie TD record (with Peyton)
Only QB to start his career with 100 QB ratings his first two seasons
Most wins in their first six seasons

Wilson in five pro bowls his first six seasons, how many was Brady in?

NFL leading stats, we have a very VERY special QB here. To a know nothing like you all that matters is....THE PICK. Dude, are you retarded?

That "one play" thingy:

In terms of one play swinging a team’s chances of winning the Super Bowl, the second-down interception was probably the most important in the history of the NFL. Burke’s Advanced Football Analytics model suggested after the game that the Patriots’ chances of winning jumped from 12 percent before the interception to 99 percent afterward (http://www.advancedfootballanalytics.com/index.php/home/tools/live-wp-graph/index.php?gameid1=2015020100), for a swing of 87 percentage points. It’s difficult for one play in any context to shift things that dramatically.

The Mike Jones tackle of Kevin Dyson at the 1-yard line in Super Bowl XXXIV came to mind, but that was a 23-16 game; even if Dyson had gotten in, Tennessee’s chances of winning would have risen only to about 50 percent, since the two teams would have gone to overtime (or Tennessee would have attempted a two-pointer, which would also have put its chances of winning near 50 percent). The most meaningful play before this one was probably Scott Norwood’s missed 47-yard field goal in a 20-19 game at the end of Super Bowl XXV, but there’s no way he had an 87 percent chance of making the game-winning field goal to begin with, so even reducing Buffalo’s chances to zero wouldn’t match Wilson’s interception.

What does this tell you little guy?

The annual Football Outsiders Almanac is filled with a bunch of great numbers and useful information on all 32 teams, including the Seattle Seahawks. Below are three takeaways from this year's edition.

1. Russell Wilson holds the record for game-winning drives through a quarterback's first four seasons.
Wilson has brought the Seahawks back 18 times since the start of 2012. Pete Carroll constantly preaches "finish" and according to the Almanac, Wilson has done his part. When the team has faltered down the stretch, it's often been the defense that's had issues.
In the fourth quarter last year, Wilson posted a passer rating of 114.8, tops in the NFL. His nine to one touchdown to interception ratio in the fourth also ranked first.
Overall, the Seahawks have been an incredibly difficult team to blow out. According to the Almanac, they've either led or been within one score in the fourth quarter of 88 consecutive games. That's the longest streak in NFL history.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know, ya don't get it.
Dude, do you have any idea at all just how much of that sort of thing we see with Russell Wilson? He's doing things never seen before and all your dumbass can do is.....but THE PICK....just like some fucking rookie, sheesh~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why is it ya totally ignore all these stats, numbers, records we see with Wilson? You never comment on anything, yep.....ya know you're full of shit.
Wilson left the college game as the all time leading passer for a season in NCAA history, walked right in took over, tied the rookie TD record and won a playoff game. THEN...won a SB, while setting more NFL records, THEN....another SB, and one record after another.
Dude, you're an idiot.
Ever hit you.....how come Wilson has been voted to five pro bowls in his six sesason career? Why is Wilson in the MVP talk? How come Wilson is always ranked high in that top 100 players thingy? And.......find me a QB highlight vido on a par with what we see with Russell Wilson, yep, it can't be done.
Wilson number two on the ALL TIME QB rating list, only Rodgers ahead of him.
TWO SB's in his first three seasons
ONLY QB to ever post 100 rating in his first two seasons
NFL record for 4th Q winning drives by a 4th year QB
Most 4th Q td passes in a season in history
NFL leader at 110.1
NFL leader 34 TD passes
Winningest QB in history after six seasons
NFL record 4000/30/500
Beat the eventual SB champs in 2016, beat the eventual SB champs in 2017
FIVE pro bowls in six seasons
Only a moron wouldn't get all that.
Is Russell Wilson The Best QB In The NFL Today?
So much of this......
The Seattle Seahawks’ resurgence began with the hiring of Pete Carroll in January of 2010, but it wasn’t until Russell Wilson was added in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft that Seattle became a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
Wilson’s rare combination of athleticism and arm talent make him a nightmare to defend. He might not be the best pure passer in the league, but he is also far from a one-dimensional running QB. Scrambling quarterbacks have had success in the NFL, but it’s frequently short-lived. Wilson’s balanced skill set makes him more difficult to game-plan against, and less susceptible to injuries.
Simply put, he belongs in the conversation with the best signal-callers in the league. In Sam Monson’s ranking of the top 100 players in the NFL right now, which will be published on PFF next week, Wilson cracks the top five among quarterbacks, edging out the likes of Drew Brees and Carson Palmer and ranking just behind guys like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.
Let’s take a look at the two big reasons why he is now a top-5 NFL QB.
To be fair, not RW's fault. Bevell's fault, and Carroll's fault for okaying the playcall. Wilson didn't... kill, kill... at the line. That was all on the playcalling.
Even in spite of that, if it had been a stronger and better receiver (Baldwin/Kearse?) than Lockette, it likely would've been an incomplete at worse, and more than likely a catch... score? who knows, Butler was closing fast, but at least a catch inside the one yard line or at worst, an incomplete.
There is a reason Russell Wilson walked right in and started winning, setting NFL records, making pro bowls while Foles was thinking about retirement. Again, Fouts played in an era where the rules weren't designed to inflate quarterbacks' stats. His worst years for interceptions were 1979 and 1980 with 24 each. He didn't even lead the league in INTs in either of those years. It was tougher to play QB back then and there's really no argument to the contrary.
Joe Montana threw more interceptions than Struggle in his first six years as a starter. He also had a worse passer rating than Struggle in his first six years as a starter. Yet nobody with a brain would ever seriously argue that Struggle is better than Montana. Of course, you probably will now because you're that invested in pretending Struggle is anything more than a game manager on a stacked team.
Avante takes those top 100 lists far more seriously than anyone else, including the players who vote on them. I've never seen anyone else use those in an argument.
That coming from a guy talking about skills competition at the ......pro bowl...???? Now there is some serious shit there.
Dude, there is no doubt if Wilson wasn't ranked or ranked 96, it would be.....see see see even the players know he's just so so....and we all know it. Being the guy is ranked high it must be...nobody takes this seriously. BUT.....boy those pro bowl skills competition is taken seriously.,...hahahahaha~~~~~~
And it is the combination of....NFL records, winning, leading the NFL stats, pro bowls and.....always ranked high by the players.
That's 8 talking.
This season Wilson will be ranked in the top 15 players in the NFL, and he was in the MVP talk. He's been in five pro bowls in a six season career. Doesn't any of that register with you, are you really this far gone to not get it? You really don't hear/read.....boy this Russell Wilson is special.....really?
I get your need to be a little pest/punk, but don't look like a fucking retard doing it, ok little man?
Dude, why do you totally ignore the fact I've seen a lot of QB's since the late 50's and know what I'm talking about? You really can't see the experience?
And if he'd had won this you would have said nothing. That's you.
So the pro bowl is serious but not the players rankings, right?
You have low rent ways guy and it sucks.
My fav....
Me...check out speedster Tyreek Hill.
You....hahahaha he muffed the punt.
Then after that....ZOOOOOOOMMMM TOUCHDOWN~~~~~~~~
No....yep, ya nailed it Avante. It's.........................nothing.
Ya suck guy, ok?
All the TV guys, all the players, all the knowledgeable fans see the greatness in Russell Wilson, only a guy who.....TOM SAVAGE THE BEST QB IN TEXAS, PERIOD......hahahahaha~~~~~~~~ Dude, ya don't know shit, ok?
You ever actually looked at the career numbers of Derek Anderson? The guy sits on a bench because he sucks, but you.......they need to start Anderson over Cam Newton......hahahaha~~~~~~~ Nobody should be this damn stupid, it shoud be illegal.
Sometime next season you are going to see just how damn stupid this thread was, wait and see.
Dude, if ya really understood the game and gave legit reasons that made sense it would be different but it's never like that with you, it's all a bunch of stupid bullshit that never makes any sense at all.
A couple seasons ago Wilson was the MVP of the Pro Bow, it was........hahahhaha the pro bowl?????????? Now it's....he sucked in the pro bowl skills......see how it works?
And....
Only rookies ignore a players history/body of work, for a play, a game. Nothing says....I'M A ROOKIE...more than making too big a deal of Wilsons SB INT/Foles SB.
Listen to Avante (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=33483). He can name players from the 50's. He knows what he's talking about.
Well let's see.....
You can take your car ro Coolie Jones Auto Repair, they have been in business since last March or ya can go to Bobine Motors, which as been working on cars since 1954.
Dude, nothing beats experience.
OR....
Ya can just go with this.
Russell Wilson the winningest QB in their first six seasons in history.
NFL record....most TD passes in the 4th Q in a season in history.
NFL record....4000/30/500 (came within 17 yards of having the second in 2017)
Only QB in history to have two 100 QB rating seaeons to start their career
Five time pro bowl in first six seasons
SB winner
One yard away from winning two SB in first three seasons
Led the NFL with a 110.1 QB rating
Led the NFL with 34 TD's in 2017
There is no QB in history who had a more impressive first six seasons over Russell Wilson. If talking wins, records, stats.
And sometime in 2018 when it will become real obvious Nick Foles isn't all that so this thread will look like all the rest of Clipper Nations threads, yep...stupid.
And, sometime soon the NFL players will vote on the top 100 players in the league (Wilson 17 in 2016) look for Wilson (MVP talk) to be ranked in the top 15.
And, Avante can talk players from the 20's, so get it right. Imagine a 126 pound pro footballer.
Avante
Here it is year six for Russell Wilson. How can anyone not get this?
NFL records, think about that.....NFL Records.
NFL firsts.
Nobody has ever won more games.
FIVE...pro bowls.
SB Champion.
Only a 100% know nothing would fail to see....IT.
Here we have a fantastic talent, I see it and I've seen them all since Johnny U.
How stupid is this....
Dummy....but Avante, Nick Foles had a great SB.
Hard to believe we actualy have posters with that lack of understandings of the game.
This is how damn stupid Clipper Nation realy is, he said this about Nick Foles
He's better than Struggle.
How dumb is that?
Does this guy know anything at all about the game? Where does he get this stupid crap at? Tom Savage is not the best QB in Texas, that's why he's now in Louisiana. Derek Anderson is not better than Cam Newton, that's why he had more INT's than TD's. Talking up Joe Flacco??? Running down the great Peyton Manning and now this stupid bullshit, fucking....rookie.
Last season Foles competed less than 60% of his passes, he had less than a 90 QB rating. There is nothing anywhere that even hints at this back up being better than Russell Wilson.
My bad, Anderson is actually 60/60 TD/INT, hahahaha~~~~
According to the NFL players Russell Wilson is the 11th best player in the NFL.
According to a guy with over 50 years of following pro football, it's...
Rodgers/Brady
Brees
We can debate Wilson/Big Ben
Wilson hold 4/5 NFL records/firsts.
Unlike Rogers/Brady he walked right in and took over.
5 pro bowls
How could anyone with even half a brain see that as a....Struggle?
Russell Wilson has put together the best first six seasons ever seen. If ya don't believe that find someone who did it better, ya can't.
Nick Foles.....hahahahahaha~~~~~
Seattle should trade for Foles?
Really?
Russell Wilson (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/154904/russell-wilson) is 41-12 at home with a passer rating of 103.6. This season at home he’s got 16 touchdowns and just one interception with a rating of 127.9. ***************Only Tom Brady has won more games at home than Wilson since 2012.
In December, Wilson is 20-8 with a*********** rating of 103.3, the highest December rating in NFL history. ***************Only Brady has won more December games since 2012, while six more December touchdowns than any other player in that time.
At home in December, Wilson has 35 touchdowns and eight interceptions with a rating of 106.3. **************Only Aaron Rodgers has a higher December passer rating at home in that time.
Wilson is 6-2 on Monday night with 16 touchdowns and two interceptions.****************He has the highest career passer rating in Monday Night Football history at 111.8, among all QBs with at least 150 attempts. Move it down to 100 and only Colin Kaepernick (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/130799/colin-kaepernick) has a higher MNF rating.
Wilson is 3-0 against the Vikings with eight touchdowns, no interceptions, and a rating of 142. It’s his highest rating against any team in the NFL with at least two starts. He also has a rushing touchdown against Minnesota.
The last time Seattle need a home win on Monday night in December, Wilson threw three touchdowns and no interceptions in a 34-7 rout against the New Orleans Saints (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/new-orleans-saints), a team that was 9-2 prior to that loss.
Wilson has a passer rating of 103.5 against the NFC North, the highest he has against any NFC division by a good margin, and he’s only faced the NFC West more often.
He is 20-5-1 in primetime.
Why fight it people, we are witnessing something real special here in Russell Wilson.
Judy
Bodybuilding
Literature
Track
Football
Yesterday I hit my workout, read 30 pages Texas Tough, watched Smackdown/New Japan, read some old Track & Field News (71) Took care of Judy's needs and started working on my week 14 NFL picks, as I listen to Wildchild Butler blow that harmonica.
Who has the best MNF record?
Who has the best points scored/points given up situation?
How do Wilson and.,..................hold it, didn't CN say something about how Struggle sucks so long and hard he should be replaced by Nick Foles?
You asked.
Here's what will happen Monday night
Wilson will fumble.
posters....,hahahaha sruggle
Wilson will over throw a wide open receiver.
posters....hahahahaha that fucking struggle.
Wilson will throw a stupid pick.
posters...HAHAHAHAHA the guy SUCKS~
Then here comes the 4th Q down 13.
Wilson hits Baldwin with a perfect throw for 45
He hits Locket with a WOW toss for 32...TD
posters...got lucky
The D picks off Cousins
Wilson hits a 26 yard out to Moore
Wilson hits Lockett on a crossing pattern for 20
TV guys....the guy is simply magic
posters....ok ok a decent throw.
Wilson scrambles around for a good 10 seconds making everyone miss, then....a long pass to Lockett TOUCHDOWN.
Seattle wins.
TV guys....the guy is simply remarkable.
Posters....................nothing.
Russell Wilson left the college game as the all time passing efficency leader for a season.
His rookie season he ties the rookie TD record 26 (Peyton)
His second season he wins the SB.
That is struggling?
He has about a dozen firsts. NFL records, never seen before moments in his young career.
That is strugging?
BUT ...he had BEASTMODE, THE LEGION OF BOOM.
Well he doesn't have them now and is having his best season and will be making another playoff run. He is in that MVP conversation just like he was last season,
So to all you rookies out there who obviously don't get it, live and learn.
This will be funny....
The Seahawks aren't going to the SB and neither are 30 other teams, so when they do lose...........that fucking Struggle, hahahahaha~~~~~~
