Needed assistance off the floor. Doesn't look good. Hopefully not an ACL.

This suck. Even Modern medicine and eastern bloc training couldn’t help him.

Speedy recovery.

If the Knicks FO has any wits about them, they will absolutely tank this season now. They could easily still get a top 5 pick and add another star-level player to pair with Porzingis next season. They're only 5 games ahead of the Suns who have the worst record in the league.

Hate to say I told you so ... but I called this. When everyone was bitching out Lakers for not taking Porzy ...dudes over 7 foot 1 are high injury risk players ...
If I could create a son as a hooper no way do I make him over 7 foot and probably stop at 6 foot 10 ...

Yeah, and the guy they drafted instead isn't even on the team anymore.

:lol Booker is the definition of stat padder and KAT is one of the worst defenders I've ever seen. A torn ACL is not a career-threatening injury like it used to be.

Regardless, with a player that talented you take the risk, and there wasn't another player when the Lakers picked even close to his talent level.

ACL tears are still some of the worst injuries you could suffer in this sport and this really impact his career. We'll see next year.

never said otherwise i wish we had the stones to make, the pick i just explained theclogic why we did not ... either way...i dont care about the modern medicine /training still rather have a player with two non surgery knees...
Westbrook Lavine both look explosive post knee injury ...but i still dont trust it longterm ...we will see

None of them are over 7 foot 1, genius ...(reading is fundamental, Amb go back to where I said the risk was) all are listed at 7 foot or 7 1 at most ...and its known all nba players lie about height so you have to take 1-2 inches off them ...Duncan Dwight Alonzo KG Dirk Hakeem are all truly in that just under 7 foot sweet spot ...

iIm talking Smits, Sabonis, Yao, eaton zydrunas Bol all over 7 foot 1 wouldnt want my sons legit over 7 foot like Porzy or Embiid
You can wish what u want for yours btw ... I wouldnt want my sons over 7 foot 1...
even the healthy ones like bol or eaton are awkward or goofy like muresan and eaton...they just dont seem fluid athletes like Robinsonbor skinny Shaq...porzy is ...hence the unicorn nickname but i dont trust him ...to stay healthy.

Look at how explosive Derrick Rose has been after his knee injury. Went from MVP to a nobody really fast. I guess it depends on the person and how they heal.

Except you said you will stop at 6 10. And yes. Karen was over 7 1

because that is my prefference... I think bigs in that range are better able to switch and defend pnr ...tough for guys over 7 foot 1 to defend that the really good defenders like Zo, hakeem kg arent over 7 foot 1

he's very young and also a great pro (eat/sleep/etc) .. so chances are he'll have a full recovery. Also it'll help his game mature by minimizing reckless play... also helps the knicks get a pick.

agree with all that hope he recovers like Embiid has but rather Philly and Knocks take dat gamble with max money on injured big men...
hope he gets and stays healthy

Bake. Was really the only 6’10 or under centre to be so dominant defensively. Zo was not as agile. Robinson and Garnett, both over 7 were able to.

I guess I can include sheed who’s 6’11

if you truly believe david and KG are 7 foot 1 i have a plot of land to sell you on Antartica and even if you count them still not over 7 foot 1 which is where i see the injury risk and poor mobility... and those guys are outliers regardless ...

Then if you believe porzingis is 7’3 ... the nba don’t leave porzingis out of this height exaggeration business.

And Robinson confirmed himself he’s 7 foot and half an inch.

A torn ACL is not a career-threatening injury like it used to be.

no, but it is a season ender in any case, basketball is a rhythm sport unlike any other, and there are examples like Rose where they never come back the same.

no, but it is a season ender in any case, basketball is a rhythm sport unlike any other, and there are examples like Rose where they never come back the same.

Rhythm has nothing to do with it; NBA players are off for five months generally between the end of the season and the start of training camp. Knicks weren't going to make any noise regardless so in the long run this more than likely helps the franchise. As for Rose, he was heavily reliant on athleticism and he had multiple knee injuries, not just the torn ACL.
