In this game David Robinson, who was in his 2nd year, went toe-to-toe with Magic Johnson. The Lakers won this game 122-115, but the Admiral/Magic matchup most definitely didn't disappoint. Here are their stat lines:

David Robinson: 36 points, 23 rebounds (14 offensive), 5 assists, 3 blocks, 3 steals
Magic Johnson: 30 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals, 1 block

I was at that game once upon a time. Great game, but I couldn't believe Magic could absolutely take over like that. He was 32 at the time. Shortly thereafter, he got AIDS.
