This is just uncharted and unprecendented territory. The RRT is when the team usually got together and came out playing the style and the rotation that they really wanted to play the rest of the season and playoffs.

That wasn't he case this year at all. It seems like perhaps after the ASB is when they expect to get everyone back that is going to be back... and figure it out then.

The All-Star forward has returned to San Antonio to undergo what the team says is routine treatment on his chronically sore right knee.

"He's just getting a treatment on his knee," coach Gregg Popovich said after morning shootaround in Salt Lake City. "There's a certain amount of rest that has to happen. He's doing it now so he won't have to miss any games after the break."

Spurs not really picking up a big better than Joff Lauvergne for depth during the season really has been a blow.

PATFO making preemptive excuses for the 50 win season streak coming to an end tbh

Works for me, Jazz at only 4 pts to cover. I'm putting 500 on that for sure.

This season cannot be compared to previous seasons. If in fact LMA is nursing a sore knee, then let him have the 2 nights off. Can't risk anything with him being on team LeBron tbh

Out until after the all-star break = out for two games, at Utah, at Denver.
Some headline grabbing tactics by SAEN.

Not worth panicking over that paltry amount of missed games.
As long as he's good to go February 23.

I don’t blame Pop for resting LaMarcus. The Spurs have had unfortunate experiences with injuries this season.

Heh I had forgotten I made this thread. Yup. Injury management = play one game, then more injury management, rest, = stealthy tank

As expected, LMA and Manu back tonight. Playing for the "easy" win.
