The Clippers are expecting center Chris Kaman to take on a bigger role this season. "He's gotten better each year," coach Mike Dunleavy told the Los Angeles Times. "He's got good size, he likes the contact, and all his skills are getting better. I've been pleased by his improvement."

Kaman recently had X-rays on his left thumb after complaining of persistent pain, which obviously raises red flags for fantasy owners considering taking a chance on a sleeper center like Kaman. Those owners will have to wait on the X-ray results before trusting him to be healthy enough to contribute.
