I haven't started it yet. I'm reading the books first. I'm on the third of three.

I hadn't watched a series as fast as I did this one in a longgggg time. It was so good.

Joel Kinnaman might not come back for season 2 though. Or probably most of the cast from season 1. He said his deal was for one season and he already has another job with Amazon's Hanna.

Was that MILF's body really all her? There might have been some camera trickery but whoever that body belongs to...god bless!

Saw episode 1.

Setup and plot are pretty good. The dialogue is sluggish. 7/10

Altered Carbon was pretty fucking fantastic. Being able to deliver such a complicated story so well is no small feat.

The series has been on my shelf for a while now. Should I read the books b4 watching the show?

just finished the series. It was fun, one of the better series I watched lately. It's good seeing Joel Kinnaman in a good role after the Suicide squad.

I think so. That's what I'm doing. The books are great and fairly complex. I think you would enjoy the books less if you watched the series first.
