And Harden is out for the Rockets so Pop obviously goes full on tank mode

Pop should quit the bullshit and just go with a full midget lineup and play his favorite wombat at center.

No time to be resting guys. With Harden out we had a chance to steal this game.

Only thing I can think of is that Pop's holding out his big guns against a team they'll watch on TV during the playoffs in sunny St. Croix.

This organization has become a disgrace. It was obviously likely to be a blowout loss either way, but if anyone else was in disarray and grave danger of missing the playoffs, yet sat their best player due to routine soreness and another key player due to rest, they'd be receiving major flak.

I don't expect anything to come of this, but if the league wants to have credibility with this rest issue, they should slap the Spurs with a significant fine. This undermines the spirit of competition far worse than a bottom feeder shutting down middling veterans to play young players does.

Did y’all not see Ginobili and Aldridge suck it up last night? What good do you think they’d be tomorrow? Aldridge is already a mental midget are you trying to bury him? Ginobili is obviously running on fumes.

Can't wait to watch Fathead score his 6 points in 34 minutes! Hopefully he'll have a good steal and his DBPM will go up despite getting blown by every time

I wonder if y’all just get pissed at work when you randomly think about basketball, or take it out o your kids or wives or friends. Some of you probably starting to see aussies differently just because Patty is play like shit, pathetic tbh

I’ve been off on score predictions lately (partially because they reek of homerism despite the suckage). But in honor of having the Klaw back, here we go.

No Harden, so I say 104-92 SPURS

This is actually a smart decision. This is what I wanted. We would lose this anyways. So let’s not tire ourselves out and lose the winnable game against the Magic the next day. We’re avoiding 2 losses in a row by resting Aldridge to go all out and get a win against ORL before Kawhi returns. This would have been much better if we would have beat OKC though..

Remember guys.. teams have a higher chance of losing to bad teams if it’s the second night of a back to back. Especially if we’re trying hard to beat a team like Houston. Like it or not, this is the best strategy in this situation.

Looking forward to 30 minutes of Pau, who by the way is more banged up than the guys "rested".

“With Denver and Utah winning today, if the Spurs lose to the Rockets Monday, SA will be 10th by tomorrow night.” Paul Garcia

I’m not sure what happens if we win the Magic game, but the Jazz and Nuggets both have very winnable games, so likely we stay at 10. Not for long though!

Why is Ginobili resting? He has a total of 6 points in the last 3 games combined. Send him to Austin, not back home.

Aldridge has a hurt Ankle, Gasol has a hurt ankle, Manu is old and once again Pop is over using him to save his ass. And our best player Kawhi has not played in months.

We all new when Timmy was
gone the golden years were over so get used to it. To me I am all about tanking and getting a good draft pick. To be honest Pop has even screwed that up we should have a worse record. Don’t get me wrong this team on a good night can beat anyone but we can not win a seven game serious against the good teams much less the best teams.

We we get a good draft pick trade and Pop and RC grow a pair and don’t resign and trade certain guys then we could be on the right track again

Fora minute i thought DB meant Dejuan Blair and i thought that would be about right that we would be signing all the undersized bigs of the recent years. But No, it's bertans. Gotta feel Bertans is a spur for life combing the worst aspects of Bonner and Splitter

Resting Aldridge was a no-brainer..they wouldn't have a chance against Houston regardless, right now..not only are the Rockets hot, but they'll give 100% against the Spurs every game following last year's historic embarrassment in game 6..

Makes much more sense to save Aldridge for Orlando..can't take anything for granted, at the moment..Orlando has stat-padders like Simmons and Vucevic who will be playing hard tomorrow..
