I am a proud and loyal Spurstalk member since august 2005 (I wrote an Ode to San Antonio in 2012 explaining my love for the Spurs and why I bleed Black & Silver : http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197470&highlight=French).

With my friend JP le Requin (member here since December 2006), longtime Spurs fans admiring like me the Admiral from the early 90’s, we created a few months ago with a few friends the first Spursfans Association from France (Spurs Nation France): http://www.spursnationfrance.com/ 50 French members -

After realizing my childhood dream and watch my first game in San Antonio during the 2014 Finals with JP (Spotted French Flag during Game 1 of Finals ? This was Us ;) Story of our trip to San Antonio: http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234487&highlight=French), here we are again back in San Antonio this week but this time with 20 other actives French Spurs Fans !

We already had a few events:
- Basketball tournament against KNF (Knicks Nation France) that we won despite being 2 teams against 10

- Viewing Party last month: Cavs vs Spurs (picture: https://goo.gl/dxL3GP)

We will be in San Antonio from March 16th to 21st to watch the games against Timberwolves and Warriors.

If some are you are free, it will be a pleasure to meet in San Antonio for a drink or dinner, or during halftime of Spurs games.

Hey guys, which bar would you recommend for St Patrick this week in San Antonio :toast

If you want to get away from the Riverwalk and see a cool part of town, check out Southtown. There are a cluster of bars and restaurants you can check out. Francis Bogside will be having a big celebration on the 17th. Then you can walk to The Filling Station Tap Room (great small spot for reasonably priced american craft beer),Beethoven Mannechoor (cash only biergarten with cheap pints and pitchers), the Friendly Spot (overpriced american beer, but nice outdoor area), La Tuna (bottle and canned beer only outdoor beer bar) and the list goes on.

A lot of beautiful old homes in the King William District there, too.
