Instead of acquiring players who fill specific roles and/or getting their own players to modernize their games, the team is loaded with overlapping skillsets and not in a good way. As a result of that and where various players are at in their respective careers, there's a lack of role definition and pecking order. They're a bunch of ill-fitting parts slapped together in the hopes that something sticks.
