Paxton incorrectly whipped up fear on Sean Hannity’s national television show.

A little after 3 p.m., Paxton told Fox viewers that it was “common sense” that a bomb detonated at a Shertz Federal Express facility was connected to the other bombings. Then he subtly revealed that he knew no more than anyone in Austin who was paying attention to the news. When the anchor asked Paxton whether the bomber was trying to increase the level of fear, Paxton responded: “You’re absolutely right. Obviously, as you know, an ongoing investigation, law enforcement can’t share everything they know. So there’s definitely things that law enforcement knows about what’s going on with bombs and potentially who this is that they’re not going to be able to share at this time. But, yes, I do think this guy, whoever it is, is trying to increase fear.” The takeaway? Law enforcement was not sharing information with the attorney general of Texas.

The situation was fluid, the AG wouldn't get involved that early at that level. He just receives updates when the LEO wigs are ready to release information.

Run along and find another "my thoughts" article to puke up here.

Texas AG Ken Paxton revs up fight against Austin's paid sick leave rule

In another fight over local control, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has thrown his support behind a conservative group suing the capital city over its ordinance.

Less than a week after a conservative think tank sued Austin over the city's paid sick leave ordinance, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (https://www.texastribune.org/directory/ken-paxton/)has thrown the state's support behind the suit, calling the ordinance "unlawful."
According to a statement, Paxton filed court papers with a Texas state district court in Travis County on Tuesday.

He argues in the filing that

setting the minimum wage,

which includes the minimum amount of paid time off,

is a decision strictly entrusted to the Texas Legislature.
