Agreed. I feel this year is championship or bust for them. Harden and CP3 have had reputations of being choke artists. If they don't show up this year then it's never going to happen for them.

I understand why people dislike the Warriors' personalities, but from a basketball perspective, there's nobody in league history worse than James Harden..it was so pathetic watching the Spurs have to show the refs that their hands were up straight for an entire series because he would spend all night trying to rip through for cheap points..

I believe the Spurs can beat Houston. The Rockets, mainly Harden, have yet to prove the will not choke in the playoffs. He proven to disappear year after year. The Spurs don’t fear them like other teams do. It’s a mental game with them. Get them in tough games, keep the series close, and they can crack.

Not saying the Spurs will win, but I’m not doubting they can.

Now the thunder, that’s a different story.

If the Rockets lose the same thing will happen and Cp3 and Harden will be branded as chokers forever. Medial Collateral Ligament Injury of the Knee (https://www.physio-pedia.com/Medial_Collateral_Ligament_Injury_of_the_Knee)

Grade 2 tears vary in symptoms and therefore they are broken down further to grades 2- (closer to grade 1) and 2+ (closer to grade 3). Obviously, this means that a grade 3 tear is a complete rupture of the MCL.

Grade 2 / 3
For a grade 2/3 injury-treatment it is important that the ends of the ligament are protected and left to heal without continually being disrupted. One should avoid applying significant stresses to the healing structures until three to four weeks after the injury to ensure that the injury can heal properly.

The rehabilitation for a non-operative treatment can be split into four phases:
Phase one is from one to two weeks. Phase one consists of controlling the swelling of the knee by applying ice for 15 minutes every two hours (first two days).
Starting at week three phase two begins. The aims for the range of motion are the same as in phase one. Progress to 20 minutes of biking.
Phase three starts from week five. Major goal for this phase: full weight-bearing on the injured knee. Discontinue the use of a brace when ambulating with full weight bearing is possible and there is no gait deviation. The range of motion has to be fully achieved and had to be symmetrical with the not injured knee.
Six weeks after injuring the knee, phase four can begin...The aim of the therapeutic exercises is more focused on sport specific or daily movements...The patient may start running again at a comfortable pace

So if he has a phase 2-, he is looking at ~3 weeks if he is a fast healer (which is just in time for playoffs round 1). If he has a phase 2+, he is looking probably at 4-6 weeks, which puts him into round 2 of the playoffs. And if he was Kawhi, he would be out for the season and next season, and demand a trade.

He's still on schedule to be 100% by the WCF, which is all that really matters anyway (though getting to it should obviously be more arduous, which could cost them in it). In a sense, it's a win-win for them. Go on to win the WCF and instead of the pseudo adversity they've desperately tried to create this season, for the first time they'll have overcome some of the real thing. Go on to lose the WCF and they have an excuse at the ready.

Rockets-Warriors is debatable in terms of which is the lesser of two evils, but right now, it's just nice to see those arrogant pricks squirm.

Remember when Mark Jackson made Manu’s potential last moment at the AT&T all about how classy Steph was because he stepped off the free throw line for 3 seconds? :lol

I think Mark Jackson is still talking about it.

I had succeeded in erasing that from my memory until you reminded me.

3 weeks to be reevaluated does not mean 3 weeks to return.
Agreed, its becoming more common to teams to say that instead of like 4-6 weeks. Rudy was reevaluated in to weeks but ended up missing more than a month after that.

if yall don't win the title this year :lol..

Rockets won't have a better opportunity than this before your star players contracts get bloated and you lose the depth that's been the key propelling this team-- not the mention the only way is down for Paul from here on out..

Yeah they still have to prove it though. Nothing is guaranteed.

Pelicans or Clippers would be easier for them IMO..Spurs would lose, obviously, but they've been playing them decently..

As long as they avoid Utah, OKC or Portland, it won't affect them at all..

I hope Kawhi thinks about this carefully. If we end up in 7th and he doesn't come back, then perhaps it'll be due to him being afraid Zaza will injure him again.

It works both ways. How many times has Kawhi had his teammates back when someone has committed a dirty foul against them? Anyways I'm old school and I do agree with retaliation when somebody does a cheap shot like Zaza but unfortunately that rarely happens in the current NBA. For example Zaza has taken out Westbrook twice and in both cases his teammates didn't do anything.

I'll take seventh. Either they take out GSW or they go home early and focus on the draft. Win-win.

And if Curry is really out, the Spurs *might* be able to survive with either Mills or Parker on the court.

Probably not considering how many scrubs those two have made look good in the playoffs like Cameron Payne and Andrew Harrison. That scrub GSW has been starting recently would probably destroy Mills and Parker anyway.

But it might happen that the gruesome twosome won't keep the Spurs from winning.

Guys are too scared of getting fined. If Kawhi wants protection he should start offering to pay fines like Chris Paul does for Gerald Green and Ariza when they have retaliated on his behalf.

and that was gonna be my example but I erased it. Gerald Green is ready to go to war when Chris Paul flops and hits the ground from a simple hand in the back. Stephen Jackson went into the stands with Ron Artest in Detroit. These are teammates you want

Now think about this for a second Gerald Green has no history prior to this season of being an enforcer. It makes you wonder what suddenly changed his mindset to act like one. Could it be that Chris Paul is not a mute who actually tries to cultivate relationships with his teammates. I remember during the '07-'08 season Duncan got injured in a game against the Blazers in which he got tangled up with James Jones that resulted him in getting a knee bruise and ankle sprain but it looked worse when it happened. It also looked like James Jones did it on purpose and I remember Michael Finley running up to James Jones and shoving him. Finley said after the game it's not normal for him to get that emotional but it pissed him off that Jones could have hurt somebody he considered a friend and good teammate. Hence that's the problem with Kawhi he does a poor job of establishing relationships with teammates. When you don't do that what's the motivation for guys to try to protect you if you show that you don't care about them.

That is so true. Even imagine him suffering a broken arm like Manu in the 2011 playoffs (which Manu played through and was the best player on the court). Kawhi would have taken a few years to recover from that. WEAK!

and maybe that is true. He doesn't seem like the talking type. But think about this, it's a known fact that Kobe Bryant is a 1st class bitch that threw his teammates under a bus when presented with a chance to. Why were his teammates so quick to defend him? We know very little about Kawhi, but surely we agree that he wouldn't be giving interviews and talking to police about police teammates . If that's the case, he would have been tried to get Parker or Aldridge traded from their play last season alone.

Kobe was a bitch but he was very manipulative and controlling towards his teammates. A lot of those guys were a bunch of airheads that loved being in LA and Kobe knew he could control them by threatening to trade them if they didn't have his back. Look at Dfish using his daughter's cancer as an excuse to get out of his contract with the Jazz to go back to LA. Look at how crazy and stupid Lamar Odom acted after the Lakers traded him. I'm convinced that if Kobe would have told him that all he had to do was eat shit to stay in LA that he would have done it. Bynum played dirty mainly because he felt he could win over Kobe's respect and trust by doing it and that Kobe would stop bullying him. Looking back on it it's pretty funny reflecting on how stupid those guys were when it came to being submissive towards Kobe. Kobe would have gotten punched out by his teammates if he tried his tactics in a shit hole like Milwaukee, OKC.

Tony has the right to say whatever he wants to say about Kawhi. He's a vet and is at that age where it doesn't matter anymore what he says since his days are numbered. Whose to say Tony does not know that Kawhi's uncle is pulling this charade and is just tired of the bs. Honestly though I would have handled it differently and just called out Kawhi on his bs in private but I'm not knocking Tony for what he did. Kawhi brought all this shit on himself for being a damn mute.
