Everyone's been sleeping on the underdog 76ers this year. They're very young but I think they're just as likely to win it in an East that's as wide open as it's been in around a decade.

Celtics are deeply flawed, nobody takes the craptors seriously, and lebron is a tired one man team this year more than ever. Please explain to me how this can't happen.

Yep. Agree. But Sixers gotta finish their business and hold onto the 3 seed.

They said Timmy Dunks was done too.
Then he told the inept coach to GTF out of the way and ran a bomb up the leagues ass in 2014.

LeBron also plugging a bomb in the Golden Phaggots ass in 2016.
He aint done yet.

TD had Manu's last heroic gasp, budding Leonard pre-injuries, and a still-effective Parker. And the greatest bench in NBA history.

Cleveland has....... ?

The way the Sixers choke leads is going to bite them in the ass at the worst possible time in the playoffs, tbh.

More leads than the Clippers will ever own in this year's playoffs, tbh.

But yeah. Young teams fuck up leads, that's what they do. It was the major bugaboo of the 2003 Spurs. But they still won the championship, so meh?

:lol WTF do the Clippers have to do with the Sixers choking leads?

The 2003 Spurs had prime Duncan. Simmons isn't prime Duncan and neither is Embiid.

The 2003 Spurs has veterans who had already won rings : Duncan, DRob and Kerr.
They also had ringless but battle tested veterans like Willis.

Totally different situations

The '03 Spurs were one of the oldest teams in the league with an average age of 28.4. So I'm not sure where that "young team" narrative is coming from either.

I believe that team had the highest or second-highest standard deviation in player age out of any team EVER in NBA history. What does that tell you?

They were a pretty young team when you factor in the 8 guys who got the most minutes during the playoffs was Duncan,Robinson,Manu,Parker,Rose,Claxton,Jackson,B owen. Out of those 8 guys only Bowen and Robinson were over 30.

Pretty sure that 03 Spurs roster had a few dinosaurs riding the bench which brings up the “average age”.

the key players were toward the beginning of their careers

Kevin Willis springs to mind.

That dude was cool, though. Used to be an all-star in his younger days.
