View Full Version : Will everyone apologize to Parker if he has another great playoffs like last year?

Seems like every year people say Parker’s done. Then he got us out of the first round of the playoffs last year when he outplayed Conley in G6 like he’s been doing his whole career. Then he gets injured and everyone said he would retire, but he came back faster than Kawhi and kept us as a contender until Pop benched him and we really started to free-fall in the standings, barely making the playoffs.

If Parker comes out and “shocks” Spurstalk again, will you apologize? Again?

No, I would want him to play good all season long so that we could be in a better position going into the playoffs, tbh.

:lol Apologize for what? He's been robbing the Spurs blind for 4+ years...

I will have a more respect for Tony if he puts his big ego aside and retires after this season, tbh, instead of conning the FO into another loyalty contract.

The best guard in franchise history deserves it, tbh.

Ignore the Mexicans. They're extra salty ever since the midget, Missi, got sent home crying. Got flashbacks of WC 14' and last years CA

Maybe, but you have to admit, he looks terrible now and it will not likely get better unless it is garbage minutes.

just want some meaningful minutes from him. Efficiency.

Parker has been a great Spur. He just lost a step and his game can't compensate for it. I'd love to see him go on a run in the playoffs, but he's a 36 year old point guard. That's longevity for a point guard, but it doesn't get better from here. In fact, it gets much worse. Unfortunately for him, he plays at the most loaded position in the NBA and even though he's smoke all of us in a foot race, he can't smoke NBA teams like he used to.

Parker and Ginobili are the reason I'm still watching. What these two have done for this team over the years is amazing. We should all thank them for being great.

Considering he's shown us nothing in months, I'd say the chance of a great playoffs is pretty good!

No. Hes paid millions and hes terrible 8 out of every 10 games. Give back salary or ball out this series

Age and injury are taking their course. We shouldn't expect a repeat anomaly of Memphis, obviously.

He was our second best player in the playoffs last year so who knows? Can't fully count out a 4 time NBA champion.

Playing well in the first round is the new bar? lmao

Parker never mattered, tbh... even when he had his best seasons, the Spurs never rang. System player, not a difference maker, tbh...

Maybe not Tony’s best season, but Spurs best player by far.

saw that the FO didn't give Brent a job because of TP's presence. Sucks, Brent is good dude. Maybe the team can get TP to retire this summer and give that man a job. Be cool to see him on the coaching staff

The 1 for 8 isn't the worst part, tbh..watch the tape, they literally aren't even staying near him off the ball..

Whoever is supposed to be his defender is completely ignoring him and playing Free Safety.. Iguodala didn't even bother looking at him..
