Jazz forward Carlos Boozer is still sidelined by a strained left hamstring and unlikely to play in tonight's preseason game against the Trailblazers. "I've talked to him about it," coach Jerry Sloan told the Deseret News. "I told him personally that 'I'm not going to force you back on the floor.' I have that responsibility. But he has to have the mentality to know when he's healthy. And that's tough, too, because there are no guarantees."

It's hard to fathom how Sloan isn't getting tired of Boozer's injury-plagued tenure with the Jazz. After the forward missed 31 games last year, he's been sidelined since the first week of training camp. At this point he should be ready for the season opener, but it may take him a week or two to get totally up to speed. Even with the injuries he should be considered a top-25 fantasy forward.
