Leonard has been the go-to option when the shot clock winds down: - The Spurs ran Leonard in an isolation set 38 times in the final five seconds of the shot clock last season, their most used play in those situations. He averaged 1.09 points per direct play in 2016-17. - This season has been much different. San Antonio's most used play in the final five seconds of the shot clock has been That play has been used 13 times and averaged 0.46 points per direct play.

I'd love to see how our out of timeout conversion rate is compared to the rest of the league :lol It's so bad Poop doesn't even bother calling timeouts at the end of games and let's the players run whatever (Murray pull-up 3's, Fathead blocked corner 3's, Manure stepback bricks, etc)

Then we have multiple threads of 7 pages saying the Spurs don't need Kawhi...OK.

13 times in 82 games doesn't seem a whole lot. Like that's 1/600 possessions, Green has the ball at the end of the shot clock and tries to make something happen. I'm honestly surprised no one's higher (and really do feel like LMA in the post is higher).

Last 5 seconds of the shot clock is a bailout shot. I do feel like Danny has been stuck with the ball in those situations too much.

I think that's true, but I also think Danny is probably overthinking things too much when he gets the ball in those situations. He should just shoot.

This. If he gets a kickout with 10-12 seconds left, sure, pump fake and take it off the dribble. With 5 seconds, you have to just take a shot, and let LMA or DJ clean up the glass.

Those marvelous LMA/Danny PnRs Pop has been calling ever since LMA signed with the Spurs aka when Danny also forgot how to shoot:wakeup
