- Pau (soft, slow)
- Patty (his shot largely abandoned him, he’s not a PG)
- Parker (sad but done)
- Anderson (slow, limited at this level)
- Forbes (yuck)
We’ll keep adding as the series moves along tbh...
tbf, Pop should likely be in this list too if we include coaching... Kerr was the one screaming to KD to move the ball, etc, just like when Pop was riding Tim’s coattails

Just Pau and Parker, so far..
Everybody else can be used correctly if Pop can take a break from being woke and care about basketball for a few minutes..Aldridge and Gay should be the only guaranteed 30 minutes, though(Mills is a lock for big minutes, though, regardless of how he plays)..
TDomination

Starting lineup:
Murray
Green
Gay
Anderson
Aldridge
Patty off the bench for no more than 20 minutes and only plays when Manu plays.
Manu plays 20 relieving green/gay
Bertans plays 20 relieves Anderson/Aldridge
Parker can get spot minutes with Gay and Aldridge on the floor, maybe do some pick and roll action with Aldridge or penetrate and dish to gay. (Btw what happened to parkers shot, he has absolutely no lift and his shot is short and flat)
Pau with spot minutes as well.
I would like to see white with the starting unit at some point to see if he can penetrate and dish or to help keep the ball moving but that will never happen.

What’s that, like 1/3 of the team’s cap space you can’t play?

I thought Kyle played poorly but he also had the strictest leash of everyone which is stupid bc Tony shot 1-8 and no one outside if Gay really stood out. I'd start Gay. Lamarcus needs to have some balls. I thought Gay played better than LMA did.
I'd play White and cut Patty and Tony minutes. There's no reason Patty should be playing the most minutes of everyone. Play Kyle and Davis the bench. Start Gay. Try to spread out the little guys by not playing too many of them together it affected their rebounding.

Plus players like Patty that can only shoot, all you need to do is put tall/lengthy defenders on them.

I like your lineup, It will eliminate mismatch. No need to double because of mismatch. Also, maybe Pop can put Bertans on Durant. At least he's got the length to match up, unlike Mills and Forbes.

Mills
Forbes
Anderson (not when paired with Murray, in the SL at least)

you mean Klay has a height advantage over a midget bench PG? That is bad coaching and roster construction ...his shooting was needed tonight ...

3 point specialist, 3/9... not a PG... leaks like a sieve...
He can be part of a team that's solid defensively or against matchups where you can hide him somewhere... not this series

Murray and Slowmo aren't playing enough in this series to hide him (averaging about 10 minutes or less--Murray played 22 the first game but that included 12 minutes of the 4th Q garbage lineup-Game 1).
There is no hiding him...
He also plays 30+ minutes and when he's not playing you have both Forbes and Tony... it's just too much.
On top of that, not a good enough offensive talent to make up offensively what he gives up defensively. IThomas in his MVP season did, and even then that was a team that was obviously not a contender and was destined to fail. So will this Spurs team playing 32 minutes of Mills.
It's over.
anderson is just a bad player for the playoffs, period. he is a 'deer in the headlights' performer and it's obvious he shrinks in the big moment. his players probably don't even want to pass the ball to him because they know he has no confidence in himself. i could care less about how decent he is in january because the fact is that he will never be a ready for prime time player.

how many ready for prime time players do you have tbh?
Years of poor drafting and FA aquisitons have finally caught up to the Spurs. The failure of the Forbes project is especially a shame since he's a pretty prolific scorer outside the NBA. He has the talent to do well and be a taller Patty. But at this point, it's probably a lost cause.

With Anderson he doesn't seem to have half the balls in the playoffs this year as he did last year. Bad thing is he did look quality at PF and SF at various times during the regular season. To be a regular season backup and minutes later he is worth maybe 4 mil per year.

I've been saying this all year. Dude is trash. :lol
I mean, we already know he's a decent regular season player, I never said he wasn't. He just ain't a Prime Time player.

Some of us thought "teams not for the playoffs" was the better topic but the fucking clippers got there first
how many ready for prime time players do you have tbh? of the current crop of younger players that is still to be determined but i can rule out forbes and anderson. i brought up KA because there has to be a decision made on him.

Hes a 2nd year player that led the spurs in 3pct. On a team that has no ball movement. Hard to judge his effectiveness
