Been seeing a lot of comments about this being the most disappointing Spurs team. One OP even said this was more disappointing than .04 and Game 6. STOP IT! That's utter foolishness. Duncan could've had a Russell-like run. There were plenty of heartbreaking near misses. Even last year, the Spurs were locked and loaded and ready to win it all before Zaza struck. Some would put the politics of 2012 WCF up there, etc. This team though, let's call it for what it is. It' a team that had a faint hope of winning a championship that went to a team with a faint hope of winning a playoff game. Spurs have had bigger disappointments than that.

Not most disappointing. But worst and least likable team in my memory.

2009-2012 were the most disappointing years tbh

Players like Bogans/ Finley/ RJ/Neal/Blair/Bonner/55 yr old Mcdyess wasted 3 good seasons of the big 3

Duncan's knee was in bad shape after 2007 and all big 3 were on big salaries.

God you’re retarded. That’s not what i fucking meant. This team is the most disappointing because basketball has changed in the past 5 years and no one on this team is equipped to play it. After game 6 we won a title in ‘14 with little if any tweaks. After 2011 we hit the WCF with just one trade.

We’re YEARS away as is. This team is so fucked bro. We have no 3 point shooters in a league that is all about 3 point shooting.

I'll put this plain as day; for most of us, giving away championships should be as "disappointing" as it gets. Your blather and loathing doesn't confuse that reality.

Disappointing was when the Grizzlies upset San Antonio back in 2011. That was disappointing.
