I'm sorry but I really don't think the Spurs will win the next game. But I'm happy to see them at least take one game. To go down with at least a bit of honor. To show they have fight and a will to win.

Can they repeat what happened today? Probably not. But that's okay.
"Sunday, the Spurs made 15 of 28 from beyond the arc, including eight of 10 when those shots were uncontested, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Their 15 made 3-pointers fell one shy of their postseason mark of 16 set in Game 3 of the 2013 Finals against Miami."

I was so afraid they would go out 4-0. Happy to see them take this one!

Spurs 4 The Win

Game 2 and 4 were the games to win. We really blew a shot to take Game 2. This series could be 2-2 right now. But we always were gonna be outgunned in this series and the margin for error was slim.

I wanted them to lose to start the off-season. But to see Manu win 1 in what could be his last gm on his home court, it was priceless. I kinda felt GS threw the Spurs a bone with Kerr having Pop ties.

The team played with so much intensity. It was probably the most excited I’ve ever been for team winning a game down 0-3. This team has battled through a lot this season so I’m happy they got one. I too except Golden State to close it out Tuesday. Happy for Manu with the huge game.

If the Spurs could pull off a game 5 win, I'd like our chances in game 6.

Yeah, I'm somewhat happy with that. Mostly because of Aldridge. At least LA won't feel bad about leaving them to go to the Spurs. If they ended up having a better playoff run than the Spurs, LA may have started thinking that he made a mistake leaving them to join the Spurs.

Anyway, take it one game at a time. Win game 5. I'm not packing it in. I hope the Spurs come out and give even more effort, and have an even better performance than last night.

the system is working ... the talent is just not there ... they made shots and that was the game

without the system a Kawhi-less Spurs team does not make the playoffs ... Kawhi is a superstar on his own, but the system and Kawhi can still benefit from each other

another thing ... please lose that horrible avatar picture

Yes, I agree. That's a big drop! Not what any Spurs fan wanted. But it is what it is. Injuries happen. Stuff happens. I'm just trying to see a ray of sunlight peaking through the clouds!

Keep it close in game 5 and Durant will crater. He doesn't like competition.

no, Warriors had one of those games every team has, cold as shit, a very Spurs-like FG 38% vs Warrior avg of FG 53%. Kerr didn't cause that.

This win won't mean much at the end of the day and chances are the Spurs will lose this next game. But with all the bull shit they've had to put up with this year ( LA's trade demands, Leonard saga, injuries, decline of key players, media attacks, and Pop's wife), they've shown great character and any fan should be proud of this team. It would be so easy for them to just give up--they have every excuse to do so but they didn't and haven't.

They didn't get swept and that is good enough for me given what a clusterfuck this season has been tbqh

In light of everything that happened this year, I'll take the win.

It's a flawed roster without an alpha player and that was shown. Too many old and marginal players having to do too much and play certain roles that did not suit their strengths.

For that type of team, they went down swinging all season.

Vs Lakers championship to missing the playoffs 5 consecutive times.
