I’ve seen too much of the MCU at this point to miss this one, but after Avengers 4 I seriously doubt I’ll ever watch another superhero movie. I’m beyond burnt out on this genre.

Same here. Boiled down plot line: There's a new villain that is about to destroy the universe and by the end of the movie, the Avengers will stop him. In between, there will be a bunch of cool fights and explosions, a couple of love interests go bad and then good, a non-Avenger lovable character will get killed, one of the Avengers will die but somehow the team brings him/her back to life, and 150 minutes later, there's an after credits scene to set up the next 1.5 billion dollar grossing movie.

I saw a movie just like that a few years ago. It was called The Avengers .

I expected it to be better tbh. It's still a fun movie, but I would not say it's a 10/10 or even a 9/10. For me its probably 5th or 6th best in the MCU. Thanos is by far the most interesting thing in the movie.
