He doesn't do a damn thing, hope he isn't starting next season....I know he isn't opting out.

his defense has still graded well this season, but his broken shot makes him a bad tony allen

That’s a good point. Maybe he should become a club promoter or something and quick sucking at basketball. Oh, wait, that means he’d have to actually work, so probably not going to happen.

I wonder if Danny gets brought back because he's probably closest on the team to Kawhi....really hope not tbh. Grateful for what he's done but he should be getting Mbah a Moute money....

He's not going to give up 10 million $, so hopefully he learns to shoot again during the off-season and becomes a good bench player in his contract year..

Spurs are going to need a new starting PG, SG, SF and C:lol

He just got blocked at the basket then missed a wide open 3 which is the only thing he’s supposed to be good at. Except he hasn’t been able to shoot for years.

About time someone makes a thread about this faggot. Spurstalk has been selling his shit for 3 undeserved years. Nice to see everyone finally decided to watch the games and not go by plus minus stats :lol

He used to do everything.

Now he does nothing.

He’s pretty much been garbage since game 5 of the 2013 NBA Finals tbh. Of course, he was always overrated to begin with. There was a reason he was an end of the bench scrub in Cleveland tbh.

how are all the fluffers going to explain him opting in when they spent the last three years talking about how great his contract was and praised PATFO for it? :lmao

His contract was tremendous value, last season..only 10 mil for a 38% 3-shooter and all-NBA defense 2nd team..

In all my years of watching the NBA, I can't think of many other examples of a player becoming completely unable to make open 3s after being a great shooter for years:lol

Maybe Nic Batum recently, but I don't remember if he was a perennial 40% guy..

The clown really got a reputation of being an all-nba defender because he got a fast break block every other game and had his weaknesses covered by the 2 best (post and perimeter) defenders in the league.... :lol

in an elimination game: 0 points on 5 shots, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 1 rebound, 1 turnover

Please, someone blackmail this guy into opting out

It's not just that, his defense was horrendous... I get that it's hard to guard Klay, KD... but he looked lost a lot out there...

He could have won the damn game, make one fucking three.

I was just at the barber shop talking up the Kawhi-Green tandem and how they are the key to any GS match up. Then as typical Green shits the bed so hard. He will never ever break out of his inconsistent shooting.

Him and Mills really show up for the big ones don't they?

Green's a career 41-percent three-point shooter in the playoffs. If you know binomial distribution works, you know that that means Green would have multiple bad-shooting games to counter the great-shooting games. Someone who defies math enough to always shoot 2/5 from three really should be able to shoot 3/5, 4/5 or even 5/5.

Incidentally, this same instability is why Houston has games where their offense falls apart. Three's are more efficient than twos, but they are less stable, leading to more games where they shoot so far below their average that they lose.

i'd like to see if there is a breakdown out there that compares green's 3 point shooting % on the road in the playoffs versus his 3 point shooting % at home. from my recollection, he struggled on the road. still, he did have some memorable performances.
