Don’t let the last turnover overshadow a good overall game. The architect of the comeback. If that’s his last game, it could be worse tbh.

Manu was great down the stretch! So glad he’s been a Spur for his entire career.

He should've gotten the ball sooner tbh.

They still allowed Mills/Gay to make some stupid plays before he started taking over

Other than the final turnover he played perfectly in the last 4 minutes

Haven't you heard? Manu is a cancer that takes away minutes from promising stars such as Bryn Forbes and Brandon Paul.

Definitely wouldn't mind if Manu came back next year. Really hope he does. He still contributes a lot and is in good shape still.

Really solid game off the bench. He still has enough in the tank. He should treat this like TD did with the "Until the wheels fall off" mindset...so should TP for that matter. He's the one who should really think about retirement, but he won't tbh.

The turnover was almost bittersweet; I laughed when it happened tbh. The guy is the second best Spur to ever play in SA, I'd love to hear an argument against that.

Careful, D.Rob fans are easily offended, they are still to this day in denial that it was David own fault that he couldn't win before TD

I looked like Aldridge was blatantly tugged on that pass...

Most of the 50/50 calls seemed to go the Warrior's way... when Durant blocked D. Greeen's shot, his hand hit the rim first... should that have been a goal-tend?

That turnover was brutal. All eyes on him and he coughed it up. Surreal moment and fitting for a player so great but so wild.

The poor guy played with 10 Matt Bonners for most of his pre-Big 3 and Pop career in the Jordan era.

Manu should wait until next January to come back... use the next 7 months to rest...

His own fault, he alone was getting paid more than Hakeem+Kenny combined, he made his choice

Manu did fine, but his production just isn't worth the playing time for a younger player that would be more consistent, and stand to grow better... Manu right now will only get worse... And now and then have a flashback game... But that flashback game will be a regular game for another bench player...

The sad thing is... Because of our affinity for old guys, we don't have any current players on the roster worthy of being a 6th man at the SG spot... We had Simmons and let him go

I don’t know why some people here hate Manu...there are times he cost us games but overall the guy’s been a net positive player. Always changed the complexion of the game and will be hard to replace as an x-factor who can create shots for the entire team, himself included, can shoot, and can make big plays down the stretch. Not sure there are a lot of people the Spurs can place in his stead. I’ve seen some posts take offense if he doesn’t retire and all I think is man what the hell are you people saying.

Manu was the only player worth watching for the Spurs, have to appreciate him for giving us something to enjoy on the court..

True, plus throwing bounce passes that bounce behind 6’9” guys feet...

for the 5 games, Spurs:

FG 41%

3G 30%

Both numbers well below Spurs mediocre season numbers of 46% and 35%

can't hit open jumpers, missing layups, can't score, can't win

Manu can still ball. His reasons to retire won’t be ability based. It’s if he has it in him to go through the grind of another nba season. I hope he’s back.

fuck it, bring him back for one year and let him pad stats while we tank

Based on pure ability in all areas divided by minutes he can play, Manu should have been the starting shooting guard this season. Green has no fire in him and this year retreated from taking 3s. I don't think his defense was all that great TBH.

Didn't Green sit on the bench for the entire second half yesterday? He damn sure wasn't in there at crunch time.

So SG is a position where we have a problem if Manu is still the choice of the coaches at his age to close.

He was for sure one of the few Spurs who competed at the level required for the playoffs. Not the only one, however. Aldridge was ok so was Gay. Parker had some flashback moments but I think he's on diminishing returns by now. The young guys were ok - need more development for them to really shine. Everyone else was pretty much not up to the level required to move past GS
