View Full Version : So, who's your bandwagon team for the rest of the playoffs?

Now that the Spurs are officially fishing, who will you be rooting for?

Houston has the Texas connection, but I just can't cheer for Chris Paul or that bearded fuck...and also don't want to live in a world where Pringles has a ring.

The Sixers are looking strong after Processing for 4 years, so they would probably be the greatest Cinderella story. They have a serious shot of taking out Lebron if they keep playing well.

Boston Celtics are somehow making things work with a box of spare parts and duct tape, but they just don't have the talent to go all the way.

Utah is playing great ball for Quin Snyder and would be a feel good story. However, that would mean Utah would finally have a title, and I kind of like them being stuck in purgatory.

Frankly, as long as it's not the fucking Warriors and Cavs in the Finals again for a fourth straight year, I'll be satisfied.

Utah and Sixers. Loving what I've seen of Mitchell.

Utah and Philadelphia 76ers for me too. I thought Donovan Mitchell was awesome and a legit player the first time I saw him in the Summer League game against the Spurs SL team, and then the last regular season meeting between the Spurs and Jazz, he won me over for good.

Philadelphia, I tried watching them at the start of the season because I wanted to watch Joel Embiid (I wasn't really interested in watching for Simmons), but they were horrible to start, so I didn't watch them again until later in the season and Ben Simmons started to impress me during their end of the season run.

I still think Donovan Mitchell should be rookie of the year, or at worst he should be co-rookie of the year.

Pelicans for some reason I don't like them, I should be a fan, but I don't like them for whatever reason. I don't know whether it's because of the last game of the season in 2015, or Alvin Gentry coaching them now, or Rajon Rondo - I don't know, just not a huge fan. I will try and watch them in the next round, though.

If Cleveland wins, Lebron would have no reason to leave Cleveland. He would essentially lose his leverage of blaming ownership for not building a roster that could contend for a championship. The Spurs in turn, would lose their .000001% of signing him.

:lol "Delusional" is thinking that any team would turn down the opportunity to add the GOAT to their roster. If the Sixers really are arrogant enough to reject LeBron, they'd have to win the next three rings minimum to not be a laughingstock.

Remember when LeBron was criticized for deferring to his teammates too much instead of taking over games? Now the narrative is that he's too selfish to play team ball. And if he joins the Sixers and plays team ball, the narrative will be that Simmons and Embiid are "carrying him" and "saving his legacy." Haters will say anything to discredit LeBron, logical consistency be damned.

Lebron can't fit in a team like the Sixers, he would ruin Simmons( or Simmons would ruin him).

I am not saying he's selfish, just that he needs the ball.

Also why would they need to win 3 rings? LeBron himself only got 3 in 15 years despite having the most stacked teams with one of the biggest payrolls for a long time (until KD to GSW happened)
