So I was thinking that Tony could join another team and have value as a mentor to their younger guards.
Imagine the benefit of having him dispense sage advice like:

http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg don't rush. you have a good 20 seconds each possession before having to make a decision
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg when in doubt, dribble dribble
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg you don't have to worry about working on your shot until toward the end of your career
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg stop and smell the roses...off season is for boating and making rap songs
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg fall down after your layups...it makes it look harder
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg for a good joke, pass the ball to your bigs with 3 seconds on the shot clock. tee hee.
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg once you dribble down the baseline, go back up to the top and see if anyone is tired
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg if you get stuck on the baseline, fire the ball to a corner. sometimes someone will be standing there for a three pointer

http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg get a pick of your coach's privates...then make sure he knows you have them during contract negotiations.

Check your lip after every layup, to show the refs you may be bleeding

If you have a 3 on 2 fast break, always try the lay up and NEVER pass to the wide open wing.

Or he could say something to the effect of:

http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpgIf you want to be the winningest player of all-time...

http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpgIf you want to score the most points of any PG in the playoffs ever...

http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpgIf you want to be the only guy ever to lead a team to a Lebron sweep...

Then have selfless stars like Tim and Manu on your team; and make sure scrubs like Speedy Claxton are good enough to bail you out.

Good luck with that, bro.

Parker always worked hard during the off season and would often play international ball after a full NBA regular amd post season. The guy is four time champion, a leader, sacrificed his body battling bigs in the paint, played through injury and pain, possessed one of the best floaters and spin moves of all time, was the best PG in the game at his peak, and did whatever the team asked of him.

Overstated, but there is good things about Parker that one can like. He certainly played at an all-star level for a significant portion of his career.

Porker can mentor our young guards on the art of wife-porking.

But...but...one time his backup made 2 shots in a 4th quarter.
