So I was thinking that Tony could join another team and have value as a mentor to their younger guards.
Imagine the benefit of having him dispense sage advice like:
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg don't rush. you have a good 20 seconds each possession before having to make a decision
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg when in doubt, dribble dribble
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg you don't have to worry about working on your shot until toward the end of your career
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg stop and smell the roses...off season is for boating and making rap songs
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg fall down after your layups...it makes it look harder
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg for a good joke, pass the ball to your bigs with 3 seconds on the shot clock. tee hee.
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg once you dribble down the baseline, go back up to the top and see if anyone is tired
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg if you get stuck on the baseline, fire the ball to a corner. sometimes someone will be standing there for a three pointer
http://a.espncdn.com/i/nba/profiles/players/35x48/3527.jpg get a pick of your coach's privates...then make sure he knows you have them during contract negotiations.
