I've never had a problem with Amazon until this week. Ordered some ear buds over a week ago that were eligible for Prime 2 Day. A couple of days later, they said there was a delay and I'd have them in two more days. Then they said that the package was not going to be delivered at all. They didn't credit my account until I called them and wouldn't even give me free one day shipping.

do you ever know what you are talking about?

By law our competitive package products, including those that we deliver for Amazon, must cover their costs. Our regulator, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC), looks carefully at this question every year and has determined that they do.

amazon has nothing to do with USPS deficits. by law they can only contract with amazon if they don't lose money on the deal. it is checked and analyzed every year to make sure.

120 not 99

I hadn't seen that. I suppose going from $79 to $120 over 10+ years is not a big deal.
Still great value imo.

the Postal Regulatory Commission. The chairman and vice chairman were both appointed by Trump. 3 out of the 4 members are republican.

by law, there can be a max 3 members from a single party, which is why trump hasn't added a fifth person, since he already has 3 republicans... even though the commission is supposed to have 5 members

you never know what you are talking about, and instead of looking simple things up, you just assume that nobody else knows.

djohn isn't the one who is grossly misinformed on this subject. just about everything ducks has said is objectively wrong, besides his noting the prime price increase

The $155 is right if you pay monthly. Still $99 if you pay once a year.

http://fortune.com/2018/01/19/amazon-prime-membership-price/

The tech giant on Friday announced (https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Prime-One-Year-Membership/dp/B00DBYBNEE) that it has raised the monthly Amazon Prime membership rate from $10.99 per month to $12.99 per month, an increase of 18%. Amazon was quick to note, however, that the $99 annual membership fee for Amazon Prime will remain the same.

Edit: Nope...they did raise the annual cost to $120

LOL 'Muricans getting reamed per par..
Prime just went from 49 to 69 euros last year in Germany, got in under the wire for 49 last year, later this year will be 69 euros

Somebody ask 'em why they're gouging their home country more than the EU

Though on a side note ,Amazon actually had to establish their own delivery service in Germany this year because all the existing ones(DHL,Heremes etc) sucked so bad they couldnt get packages delivered in two days, lazy euro fucks lol

Amazon was losing so much money from late Prime delivery's,gotta admit I took advantage.
They give you a month free Prime for every late package if you complain.pretty sure my Prime account was almost freebied almost a whole year LOL
