well, we basically told them to get bent on the Iran deal and we're trying to screw up their pipeline deal with Russia.

plus, our president is a crass vulgarian and makes them wince on a daily basis.

Can't blame them. Trump has single-handedly destroyed US prestige.

Backing out of Iran deal, sanctions talk, pulling out of TPP, "shithole" countries, etc etc etc.

It's like he is working down the list of countries/continents and trying to destroy US credibility in every area possible.
