How is a guy that has won three gold medals (and a bronze, LOL) and a NCAA championship a "loser from the beginning?"

Yes, his NBA career has been a huge disappointment in some respects but he's still a HOF talent. Never was a true #1 that could win you a 'ship just like David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Dominique Wilkins, Charles Barkley, etc.
