A no brainer.

:lmao At . . .

- Lillard 1st team. With the exceptions of Noah, M. Gasol and Jordan, being named 1st team center from '14-'16 respectively, so they could force a true center on, he's the worst player to make it.
- DeRozan 2nd team. Their record was primarily due to the best bench in the league. He cooled after a strong start and once more wasn't even the best player on his own team.
- Paul, despite once again grading out as a top 10 player in terms of impact, being left off presumably because he only played 58 games. Of course, golden boy (Curry) wasn't, despite playing 51.

If Kawhi would've been healthy, LaMarcus doesn't have the season he had.

Agree on Paul. He should be on a team. Hard to see how the Thunder and Wolves get two players each while the team with the best record got one.

At least they eliminated guys making team but missing playoffs.

This guy fucking dragged this team to the playoffs while Kawhi took an all expenses paid vacation to N.Y tbh

Lillard ahead of Curry and Westbrook??

Curry missed a lot of games while Lillard led Portland to the 3rd seed, no way Curry should be placed ahead of him this season.

Westbrook should have made 1st team instead of Lillard TBH.

Donovan Mitchell not making ROY (Simmons), should’ve made this list tbh

That’s not how it works. All NBA isn’t a consolation prize. First team all rookie is (and unanimous at that).

Mitchell got a couple of votes but Simmons was clear cut above him.

Meanwhile can’t wait till the ballots are published because some clown voted for Kristaps :lol who barely played games before going down for the year for a team that badly missed playoffs. If voting for a guy like him, why no votes for Kemba who actually played the whole season. Not saying he deserved any, but neither did Kristaps.

Two thoughts:

1) Aldridge pitching the Spurs pretty much contradicts the "reputable" reports from a poster on this board that he wants out.

2) Dear God, please keep Jamal Crawford far, far, far away from this team.

^^^ Is that considered tampering?

Edit: Though probably not as bad as calling Kevin Durant from the parking lot after a Game 7 NBA Finals loss. :blah:blah:blah :lol

Also, Jamal Crawford even on one leg is better than Bryn Forbes... :lol

Not that I would endorse his offseason acquisition by the Spurs

Sure doesn't sound like LA is unhappy with the Spurs tho.

I’m not sure you used “far” enough. He’s also boys with Murray, making it even more of an option. Ew.

Usually, but not always -- see, 2008, Elton Brand recruits Baron Davis to the Clippers then bolts to the Sixers as a FA (leaving Baron alone on Donald Sterling Island).

That was all behind the scenes, though.

I'd like to assume that, in this day and age, players understand that their tweets/grams/books/whatever the fuck kids call them these days...are going out to a larger audience and coming straight from the horse's mouth.

Congrats to the Best Player On The San Antonio Spurs for his tremendous efforts on the court for the 2017-2018 season. Thanks so much for being there all season long.

I’ve been pretty critical of LMA at times because it’s frustrating when you see a guy with that much talent not living up to his potential. But he beasted this year. Played through injuries and carried a pretty weak roster to the playoffs. Without LMA the Spurs were probably a 30 win squad this past season.

I guess the Spurs use this as leverage when he ultimately demands to be traded.

Jamal Crawford is the greatest 6th man of his generation. Would welcome him with open arms. We have 7 SG's on the team and not one of them is good.

I'd like to see Crawford sign with SA, even though I don't want him near the team either. It would likely be LMA and DJM recruiting him, and them snagging even one guy would be better than Kawhi has done.

Was just thinking the same about #1. Would seem odd for him to recruit to a place he wants out of. I put that tweet in that other thread before I saw this, so I wonder what kind of discussions it'll bring
