Mavericks swingman Marquis Daniels would've already emerged had it not been for an injury-plagued season last year. Excitement over their swingman is beginning to simmer once again, after Daniels has led the Mavericks in scoring once, rebounding once, steals three times and assists once through the team's first four preseason games, according to the Dallas Morning News. "Marquis is part of that second unit that comes in with energy and makes things happen," Jason Terry told the paper. "If he got enough minutes, he's definitely the type of player who could give you those kind of [triple-double] numbers."

Daniels was a trendy fantasy sleeper last season and if not for the bum ankle, he would've made good on that prognostication. Don't let it stop you from selecting him this season. Consider him a great mid-to-late round sleeper capable of helping you in at least four categories.
