My apologies to the board but I simply don't have the time or desire to continually update everyone on the NCAA track and field results.
And someone in particular doesn't seem to know where to find them himself.

Dude, ya don't look for results to meets you plan on watching on TV, ok? The meet will be on ESPN in a few hours.

Now, give us your EXPERT opinion on what we can expect to see.

Do you see Houston and USC breaking the NCAA records in the 4x1 and 4x4?

What about Michael Norman?

What can we expect in the mens 100m?

Talk to us about that HBCUer who shocked everyone.

What's always cool about the NCAA's is those cats from small schools beating up on the big school guys, there is always somebody from RinkyDinky State who surprises.

RGIII ran in the NCAA's, he was a good college 400hurdler.

Well there ya go fans, yep, just like I told ya, the guy don't know shit about track and he lied about 19.5-20.5.

Ya need info on track talk to a guy who wouldn't miss this meet for anything (well, would actually DVR it)

Your track SOURCE just said..............I put too much value in my time ( stupid poems, bitcin' about lines in stores, dumb threads) than to waste it watching track and field.

These NCAA's have a very special athlete, that would be USC's super Soph Michael Norman. Earlier this season he broke the WORLD RECORD in the indoor 400m, and ran anchor on a WORLD RECORD*** 4x4 team. At the PAC12 Champs he scorched an amazing...43.06...anchor split. Only two sprinters in history were ever faster, thgreat Michael Johnson and fellow Baylor alum Jeremy Wariner.

So expect to see something big today in that mens 400m/4x4.

*** disalllowed because a foreign athlete was on the team

I get the...who cares.....just don't act retarded over it with stupid shit like...SFS is our.....hahahahahaha:blah.
NOBODY...knowing track would dare talk 19.5020.5 for a middle school kid, that is beyond stupid.

Dude, ask him this.......when and where did you compete last at.....watch as ya get....nothing.

All we have seen from SFS during all this was.....nothing. He tried to hide the fact he don't know shit, but with this big meet today he knew he couldn't bullshit out of it so he finally admitted it......I don't even watch track.

So we now have 32 people who got it wrong.

You know nothings wouldn't believe just how many NFLers have competed in the NCAA's.

NWLa once won the NCAA 4x1 running three NFLers to be....Joe Delaney, Victor Oatis and Mark Duper.

When Bob Hayes was at FAMU, he ran with future pro footballers Al Denson and Bob Paremore.

Oregon ran a WR 4x1 using Jerry Tarr, Mike Gauther, Mel Renfro, all pro footballers, with the great Canadian sprinter Harry Jerome on anchor.

Avante

Let me make this clear, if SFS wouldn't have lied about that 19.5-20.5 none of this would have happened.

I GUARANTEE whoever wins the NCAA 200m today doesn't come anywhere close to a 19.5, not even in the same ball park at all, that hows stupid that was. Would be surprised to see a sub 20.00.

Lance Alworth had good speed, have read a 9.6. Hard to believe he was a RB at Arkansas with that frame.

In 1952 Manhattens Lindy Remigino (white cat) came in fifth at the NCAA's, but.....later tha season would out lean Jamaican great Herb McKenley (still a debate about who won) to win the Olympic 100m.

The first speedy black RB in pro football was Illinois speedster Buddy Young all 5-4 of him, he won both the NCAA and our USA Nationals, talking the 40's.

O.J.Simpson made the NCAA's 100 yard finals in his day, thinking he took sixth? He also ran on the winning 4x1 team.

I talked about can Houston and USC break the NCAA's records, yep.....both records went down.

I talked about Michael Norman, all he did was break the NCAA 400 record.

So as just a college soph he is the World Record holder in the indoor 400m, the NCAA 400m record holder and the NCAA 4x4 record holder.

Bummer is Norman could enter pro track next season, he's ready. But, we have been seeing these guys who leave that early struggle at the next level.

The biggest disappointment was Arkansas States Jaylen Bacon, he was the NCAA leader at 9.97, he didn't even make the finals. I do suspect some physical problems, not sure however.

USC and Baylor are the only schools in history with four 400m cats with sub 44.00 splits. Talking school history.

If Norman does stay in school, no telling where he will leave that NCAA 400m record. I can see a 43.2ish a very real possibility.

I have no doubts if Houston's Eli Hall had ran the 200m he's have won it. And a sub 20.00 a very real possibilty.

Tomorrow we have the women, keep and eye on Kentucky 400m hurdler Sydney McLaughlin, she is special. As just a HSer she made our 2016 Olympic team. She is already the NCAA record holder. Ran a 53.82 in 2017, that was the 7th fastest time in the world, she is just a kid.

The LSU women have speed everywhere, I see them dominating the sprints. Aleia Hobbs will win the 100m barring injury.

The Houston 4x100 team is loaded. TCUs record is in danger.

Talk to us about that TCU team vs this Houston team, the sprinters involved. Speaking of TCU, the school has produced 8 sub10.00 sprinters, no other school has more than five. Houston has had three....Carl Lewis, Leroy Burrell, Cameron Burrell.

BUT....from an historical perspective ya can't beat USC. The Trojans have had five 100yd/m WR holders. A slew of Olympic medalists. They have NCAA records in the 4x1,4x2 and the 4x4 relays.

What do track geeks do the day after a big televised track meet? They watch it again on the DVR.

A few things....

Eli Hall won the indoor 60 at those Champs, his teammate Cameron Burrell*** won the 100m at these. I can't recall ever seeing two different sprinters from the same school winning the 60/100.

We had never seen a mother, father and son all winning the NCAA 100m until yesterday.

Bummer that Texas A&M's 400m ace Mylik Kerley was injured. With him on that Aggie 4x4 team, that USC team would have ran even faster.

Today is all about hurdler Sydney McLaughlin and sprinter Aliea Hobbs, I expect to see big things there.

*** his father Leroy a one time 100m WR holder was also a 26 foot long jumper, something Cameron is also, making them histories only farther/son over 26 feet in the long jump.

Last season LSU's Aleia Hobbs ran a 10.85 the fifth fastest time in the world. If the weather is ok, can she better that today?

I told everybody.....the guy don't know shit.....I think this proves that, no track fan ignores the NCAA's.

As long as the midget stays away from lying about 19.5-20.5 and knowing track I'll back off, yep, even Avante has compassion for fakes and liars.

Will now make this ANOTHER Avante show off thread. I love all the ways you little people battle reality, yep, it's fucking funny. So I rub it in, it's fun. The funniest is this......nobody cares.....then 33 people vote in a fake contest, hahaha~~~~~~

Today you will notice no white female sprinters in the 100/200, why is this? And if we look back over USA history and female sprinters where are the white ones? Yes, there have been a few, but so few. Oregon had a couple recently. But when talking USA female sprinting 98%....black.

We have never had a Mexican American sprinter, or an Asian American sprinter (on a national level), why?

The surprise there was a Big10 team in the medals, Ohio State. In the long history of that conference no Big10 sprinter has ever ran a sub10.00, yep, hard to believe.

The key to 4x1 sprinting (other than safe handoffs) is giving your two fastest sprinters a larger % of the race, this is done by handing off early in the zone then late. There Houston had Eli Hall their best 200m cat on that...long....second leg, you want him running more of the race than curve runners Lewis and Burke, and the same with Burrell on anchor. Why have all four sprinters running the same %, when the speed isn't the same? Some countries/school run their fastest sprinter on that..long...second leg.

Here it's pretty much just speed. Norman could have ran anywhere actually but usually ya want your stud on anchor.

Benjamin's 43.5 leg the real gem there.

USC could run 4 Quality 4x1 teams and 4x4 teams, as could UCLA. TT can barely put together one each. They have no real history compared to everybody else. Never had a sub10.00 sprinter. TCU has had 8 of them.

Next up the USA Nationals.

We can expect to see a few of these NCAA cats in the mix there. We always have a handful who can hang with the pro athletes.

Micheal Norman is the best 400m sprinter in the nation.

Hurdler Grant Holloway will be in the medal chase.

Females 400h Sydney McLauglin and sprinter Aliea Hobbs can run with the pros.

All us real track guru's are scratching our heads over sprinter Christian Coleman. Earlier this season he broke the WR in the indoor 60, but once outside he's been subpar, so...????

Not sure what happened to 200m stud Eli Hall (ran the second leg on that Houston 4x1) at his regionals that kept him out of the NCAA's. He could give Noah Lyles a run.

Oh my God, thank you so much for this information. This is why your the Expert here. Again, infinite grattitude.

Dude, if you would have took the time to actually checkout that bogus info you'd found this.....

Jack Squat

Squat started out as a pole vaulter before realizing he was afraid of heights, so he needed another event. This landed him in the mile.....but....running around in circles made him dizzy, so there that went. Not one to give up or in he switched to the sprints. Here he finally found his true calling. Three times he broke that Bluffton school record, ended up with a 9.6. Elbert "Golden Wheels" Dubenion (Bufalo Bills WR) the guy who had held the record was at that meet.

Squat, was known for his rocket start and his shoes, he ran in tennis shoes.

Three times he won the Northern League 100 and 200 champs. And if he hadn't been drafted into the Army right out of Bluffton no telling where his sprinting would have taken him.

He was shot and killed by a fellow USA soldier in Korea, he mistook him for a Gook. Squats mom was Chinese.

Talking about old "Golden Wheels" Dubenion got me thinking about speedy Buffalo Bills.

Clyde Glosson was a National caliber cat out of Texas Western (UTEP) back in the day, a legit 9.3 cat.

ASU's J.D. Hill another 9.3 speedster, Hill like "Golden Wheels" and Glosson a WR.

O.J.Simpson ran a 9.4 while at SFCC, and ran on a USC WR 4x1 team.

WR Sammy Watkins a Florida HS 200m champ.

WR Robert Woods, the top HS400m cat in the nation.

WR Marquiez Goodwin an Olympic long jumper with sun10.20 jets.

Who am I forgetting?

"Golden Wheels"

Elbert Dubenion (born February 16, 1933), nicknamed "Duby" or "Golden Wheels", was an American football (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/American_football) wide receiver (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/Wide_receiver). He played college football (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/College_football) for Bluffton College (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/Bluffton_University) (now Bluffton University) in northwest Ohio (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/Ohio).
As a rookie (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/Rookie) for the American Football League (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/American_Football_League)'s Buffalo Bills (http://www.spurstalk.com/wiki/Buffalo_Bills) in 1960, DuBenion had seven touchdowns and 752 receiving yards on 42 catches, a 17.9 yd/catch average. He ran 16 times for 94 yards and a touchdown, a 5.6 yd/carry average. In 1961, facing tighter and deeper coverages, he upped his production as a runner, rushing for 173 yards and a touchdown on just 17 carries, a 10.3 yd/carry average. He had 31 catches for 461 yards and six touchdowns.

One of the great looking football cards is his rookie card, the classic WR all laid out making the catch...ah...with his helmet off.

Obviously can;'t talk the Buffalo Bills with no mentoin of Cookie Gilchrist. A 250 pound monster with speed back in the 60's.

Gilchrist is still the only pro football 1000 yard rusher (first in the old AFL) who went straight from HS to pro football...CFL. He was a great RB (fullback) his size/speed combo was amazing. And, he also kicked.

His rookie card is.....THE....pose, it gets no better than this, and it is right there with my Montana, Jim Brown and Rice rookie cards.

Normal people dont talk Tom Savage as being the best QB in Texas...PERIOD!

Normal people don't call a guy with NFL records, NFL firsts, a TON of $$$$$$, a good looking woman , a SB Champ...."struggle". If that is a "struggle"...we should all struggle.

Normal people don't....bench Cam Newton, we need Derek Anderson.

Normal people don't bah humbug. you're a faggot, 80% of their waking hours.

Nothing funnier than watching know nothings freaking out over a know it all, hahahahha~~~~~~

Tomorrow will be the last big track meet of 2018 here in the USA, so what did out track EXPERT/SOURCE do, yep............nothing.

I think it's pretty obvious SFS cares nothing and knows nothings about track. You talk about the NCAA's, you talk about the Nationals if ya follow the sport. SFS is a fake and a liar.

The indoor champs this weekend.

Grant Holloway from Florida should win the 60/hurdles and place in the top three in the long jump and run on a top three 4x4 team.

Blake, pay attention.

HEALTH............is where the sport is right now, ok guy? Who is ready to compete? That is pretty much all we are seeing pre April. But....we will start seeing the first outdoor meets this weekend. So all us serious track fans start looking at who is doing what, we just don't talk much about it because we know better.

Dude, you really do need to accept the fact this is something you know nothing about and simply bow out, you are looking more stupid than usual, ok?

Here is the big talk right now, the only real talk at this stage of things.

Grant Holloway never ran the sprints until this season. He was a hurdler/long jumper/4x4 relayer. This season he added the 60m, as we know he won the NCAA. So, what can he run the 100m once outdoors? A 6.50 is a great time, a lot of sub10.00 guys can't run that so are we looking at at a 9.9low here? Keep in mind being a 110 hurdler he has that all important SE.

That is how we talk in with others in the know.

Here you are on such a low level ya should be embarrashed.
