2007 - Sweep
2011 - 17 PPG, tremendous choke job, unable to post up a midget (JJ Barea), outscored by Jason Terry off the bench, stacked team vs 1 all star
2014 - 4-1, largest point differential in Finals history
2017 - 4-1, even though he was surrounded by 2 other all stars
2018 - 2nd sweep, refused to guard Durant, deferred to his teammates when guarded by Curry
Is this your GOAT? Le3-6 :lmao

2011 was very embarrassing, everything else was somewhat expected(massive underdogs in 2007, 2017 and 2018)..2016 was the most impressive win in NBA history, to be fair(even 2012 was one of the biggest upsets ever)..

I have to ROLF at *lakerfanssss* going after LBJ again and again - they need to protect Kobe's legacy
I remember they used to do the same to Duncan up to the time he won the 5th

Kobe still has the most embarrassing loss in 2004 though, Lakers were -550 going into that series.

that's because some of his teams had no business being in the finals to begin with.

that Nigga ain't even on Kobe's level....Drop the LB vs MJ or KB....his fate is sealed. No MVP has ever lost 6 times in the Finals.

2007: SCRUB team
2011: let's call that a choke
2014: motivated spurs team clicking on all cylinders
2017: durant's warriors
2018: durant's warriors
three scratches, a loss + a choke.

I feel great. How about you having the top 2 usage players in the league? Or Mike D as your coach? :lol
Lebron's comeback from 1-3 down against a 73-9 team negates all those losses.

I have a balanced take on Lebron. He's definitely a top 5 all time player, but his Finals record is definitely a strike against him. He needed a Ray Allen miracle to win one of his 3. As a Spurs fan, we never feared him. We killed him in 07, killed him in 14. We were more afraid of Shaq than this guy. There was always a clear strategy for beating Lebron: make him shoot from outside.
All time great SF, but not the GOAT.

:tu I feel the same way. That 2007 Cavs team probably wins 25 regular season games without LeBron, and Golden State were (and should've been) heavy favorites in their match ups. The losses to the Spurs & Mavs are definitely marks against him, but his win against the 73 win Warriors is an all time great accomplishment.

The Mavs swept the 2 time defending champs and beat a talented OKC team
They were legit
